Rahim is also the co-founder of Jawudi (meaning “wealth”), a fintech with a vision of creating a world where Africans have an equitable share in the creation, distribution and ownership of global wealth. Ultimately seeking to bring together the financial, intellectual and relational resources of the global African diaspora to rebuild the continent. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey Rahim worked as: a rent-a-cop, a lookout boy, a mover, a waiter, a bartender, bar manager amongst various other hustles. Rahim holds a Bachelors in Materials Engineering from Michigan State University where his work centered around specialty metals and ceramics used in the biomedical, automotive, and aerospace industries, and a joint Masters from the Science & Technology University of Montpellier in France; and the Technical University of Munich in Germany; with a focus on novel power generation and storage devices for electric mobility. He’s a voracious reader and is fascinated by human nature.
