The secret weapon for glowy makeup after 50? It goes on BEFORE anything else ✨

I took a masterclass at Nordstrom with makeup artist Erica Taylor and OGEE, and she started with one step I’d never thought to do: jojoba oil first. It preps your skin so everything after it glides on and glows instead of settling into lines.

At 60, I’m still learning, and I’m bringing YOU along! 💕💄
Yesterday I attended an exclusive @ogee workshop at @nordstrom with makeup artist and author Erica Taylor @ericataylor2347, and I was grateful for the chance to learn from a true professional! She applied the products live and explained each step as she went. Seeing it done in real time made everything click! ✨
And let me tell you, Erica is just as kind and genuine in person as she is online. She took the time to answer every question and made us all feel so welcome. 💗
My favorite takeaway: our skin needs oil as we age! Erica prepped with the Ogee Hydraganics Jojoba Glow Face Oil, and when your skincare and makeup are made to work together, you get a smooth, flawless finish instead of makeup that sits on top of dry skin.

#Gifted | Worth It Wednesday: my honest Rodan + Fields review 💬

I promised you a real review of my PR box after a month of use, so here it is:
❌Cleanser: too abrasive. I prefer one I can use on my whole face.
🤷‍♀️ Toner: not a toner girl, so no verdict here!
❌ Pure C serum: too harsh for my skin
❌ Lash Boost: irritated my eyelids
✅ Redefine AM moisturizer with SPF: love
✅ Redefine PM night cream: love

Easy fall style is all about rich colors and textures 🍂

→ Burgundy ribbed tee
→ Straight leg dark jeans
→ Espresso suede belt
→ Espresso woven leather bag
→ Tan suede mules

It looks great for a fall day…

But add one statement necklace and it’s instantly polished. The gold in the necklace picks up the gold belt buckle, so everything feels pulled together.

The final touch? A cozy brown cardigan with copper flecks takes it from day to night without changing a thing.
