Any time I start to doubt myself or question if starting this was the right decision I come back to the words of Jacob. Thank you for perfectly capturing the essence of this place (except for me being easy going??) and for keeping me going ♥️

Anyways, listen to Jacob and come hang out this week! by @potluckteahouse

Watch me Dr. Strange this thing with 6 identical small cups all thrown back to back! A lot of cool things starting to happen in the studio these days… some super awesome new members, new workshops, and some exciting news coming soon!

Did you know we offer private wheel throwing classes? I bet you didn’t because I don’t have it advertised anywhere!

Well we do and you just have to send me a message and then likely follow up to make me respond, and then you come in and you get so good at wheel throwing that you make it your personality and you sink all your money into it and you become a hermit and no one ever sees you except for holidays when you gift them your amazing pottery and they forgive you for missing their wedding and your nephew’s birth!

Come get that matcha… We’re excited to be working with @haneimatchaco to provide their “loishi” matcha for retail purchase before they officially launch! You can purchase in individual bags or with a cool tin for convenient storage. Don’t have a matcha bowl? Good thing I know how to make em!!

Matcha handbuilding workshop Sunday morning (sign up on our website), otherwise we just have really good tea, pastries, and the ambience of like hanging out with your friends in your living room but you weren’t stressed about cleaning before they got there.

One of the (many, many) cool things about Potluck is that you occasionally might hear the soothing sounds of a studio member beginning the process of making something beautiful! Membership info is on our website ☺️

There’s a new lil sheriff in town and he’s delicious…
Using only the best @highgardentea Milky Oolong, we’ve possibly pushed the brink of innovation to its limits to bring you the Maple Milky Oolong Cortado

A few weeks back @greenflamevideo was visiting Nashville and stopped in to Potluck. Inspired by the space, he graciously offered to put together a video that reflects the feeling when you’re here (apparently my posts don’t reflect relaxed or calm??). The transition at the end is absolute cinema!

🌱MARKET ALERT🌱

I will be popping up with my goods twice in the next two weeks, they will most likely my last markets of the year 💚

First is this Saturday, September 19th 11 AM - 2 PM The Maker’s Market @potluckteahouse 🫖
I’ll be there with a variety of herbal goods from seasonal oxymels, fresh herb tincture blends, body & face sprays and oils of local plants, and freshly dried herbal teas to locally grown SEEDS ❣️ come peruse my creations as well as some other badass makers while sipping on some of the best tea selection in Nashville ! ❣️

In two Sundays on September 27th from 11 AM - 3 PM there’s Tattoos for Brunch & Plant Swap happening at @hiddentat2 🌻 I’ll be popping up with my herbal creations as well as offering mini herbal consults* and outdoor plant advice ! Stop in for a Tatu, snack, and bring a plant to swap while perusing the market 🌻

🌱All of my herbal creations are made from herbs I have grown or harvested locally and hand processed myself with the very rare exception, it’s important to me to work with fresh well cared for plants in their seasons, so I can share the best care with y’all, it’s hard work but always worth it 🌱

❣️I’ll be bringing as much as possible to both markets, but if there’s something you’re craving or needing support for specifically, leave a comment or message me and I’ll do my best to make it happen❣️

💚Hope to see you cuties there, I’m still in the process of building out a sustainable way to offer my creations seasonally and in a way that doesn’t burn me out, so markets are the easiest way to get things from me right now until that happens, but know it’s in the works 💚

*disclaimer on herbal consults* I am not a certified clinical herbalist; I have been studying and working with plants and under other certified herbalists for about 8 years, I do not recommend a mini consult for anyone dealing with complicated medical conditions on various medications, this is mostly for anyone looking to introduce herbal support for less intensive conditions and general systemic and emotional support ! That said I will talk to anyone and offer what I can and even try to find gentle things even if you are dealing with a lot ❣️ by @potluckteahouse
