The United States and Iran have agreed to a temporary 2-week ceasefire after weeks of intense conflict. This deal came just before a major escalation deadline set by the U.S.

As part of the agreement, Iran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial global oil route, while both sides pause military actions.

However, the ceasefire is not permanent. It is conditional and fragile, with both countries still having unresolved issues like security guarantees, sanctions, and regional tensions.

Iran has also made it clear that it prefers a long-term peace agreement instead of short-term ceasefires, and has set conditions such as stopping attacks and compensation for damages. by @pov_relatable404

If you ever taste metal in the air for no reason, stop what you are doing. Your body is trying to tell you something.

A metallic taste with no obvious cause is one of the earliest warning signs your body gives when something is seriously wrong in your environment, and most people have no idea what it means.

Here is what is actually happening.

When ionizing radiation hits your body, it causes tiny chemical reactions in your tissue that release molecules directly into your bloodstream. Some of those molecules reach your taste buds and fire signals to your brain. Your brain has no category for radiation, so it translates the signal into the closest thing it recognises, the taste of metal.

You are not tasting the air. You are tasting the damage already happening inside you.

The firefighters who arrived at Chernobyl in 1986 described it within minutes of reaching the reactor. A sharp metallic taste, like a battery on the tongue.
Most of them did not understand what it meant. All of the first responders at the site were dead within three weeks. Their bodies had to be sealed in metal coffins and buried in concrete.

Residents near Three Mile Island reported the same thing in 1979 while standing in their gardens. One man said his eight year old son looked up from climbing a tree and said the air tasted funny. The reactor had been melting down three miles away.

It can also be caused by strong electrical fields, certain chemical leaks, and some gas exposures all of which are things your body has no direct way to detect on its own.

Your senses were never built to detect radiation. But somehow, the body still finds a way to warn you.

The question is whether you know enough to listen.

Did you know this?

Bridge to Terabithia is a 2007 American fantasy drama film directed by Gábor Csupó (in his directorial debut) from a screenplay by David L. Paterson and Jeff Stockwell. It is based on the 1977 novel by Katherine Paterson and stars Josh Hutcherson, AnnaSophia Robb, Zooey Deschanel, and Robert Patrick. In the film, adolescent children Jess Aarons (Hutcherson) and Leslie Burke (Robb) create "Terabithia", a fantasy world, which they use to cope with their troubled reality and spend their free time together.

The original novel was based on events from the childhood of Paterson's son, who went on to write the film's screenplay; Csupó was hired in late 2005, and the rest of the main cast was rounded out soon after. Principal photography began in February 2006 and lasted until that April, taking place in Auckland. This was the last film for 71-year-old cinematographer Michael Chapman, who followed through with his planned retirement thereafter.

Bridge to Terabithia was released in the United States on February 16, 2007, by Buena Vista Pictures. It received positive reviews from critics, with praise for its visuals, cast performances, and faithfulness to the source material. The film grossed $137.6 million worldwide. At the 29th Young Artist Awards, the film won all five awards for which it was nominated. by @pov_relatable404
