Rainy season is headed this way and we have mudrooms on our mind. What's in your dream mudroom? For this homeowner, it was a space for their pup and her food and supplies. 🐾 by @powellconstructiondesignstudio

When we set out to remodel this multigenerational family farmhouse, we wanted to create a space that felt modern while incorporating timeless details. The combination of black and brass against a crisp white kitchen was the perfect fit, creating a design that honors the home’s history while embracing the future.

See the entire kitchen, including the wallpaper dining room, Ilve range, and reclaimed beam from the century-old barn on the property on our website. by @powellconstructiondesignstudio

A pretty exciting week for the Powell Design Team! We’re thrilled to share that we brought home two @oregonhomemag Structure + Style 2026 Awards!

Interior Design Winner: Storybook English Cottage Study, designed by Lindsay
Bathroom Remodel Winner: Rainforest-Inspired Bathroom, designed by Tami

Our Storybook English Cottage Kitchen & Butler’s Pantry was also nominated in the Interior Design Kitchen category!

We’re incredibly proud of Lindsay, Tami, and our entire design team for the creativity, thoughtfulness, and talent they bring to every project. It’s always an honor to have our work recognized alongside so many talented professionals from across Oregon. Happy 5th anniversary, Shannon!!!

Shannon is truly the heart of our office. She never misses a birthday, a milestone, or an opportunity to celebrate the people around her. As our office manager, she has a hand in just about everything we do, and she is always ready to lend a hand, keep us going, and, of course, crack a good joke along the way.

Her calm presence, genuine spirit, and the way she cares so deeply for everyone at Powell make her such a joy to work with. We are so lucky to have her on our team, and even luckier to call her a friend.

Happy anniversary, Shannon! We appreciate you more than you know! 💕 by @powellconstructiondesignstudio

Transitional kitchens create a timeless look by blending the warmth of traditional design with the simplicity of modern style. Here are a few of our favorite kitchens from over the years that beautifully capture this balanced, classic design style.

We loved spending time with our Powell Team last month! We’ve all worked alongside one another for a long time, and it’s always nice to step away from the normal workday and enjoy some time in the garden. by @powellconstructiondesignstudio
