Managing and doing PR for artists isn’t new to me but I needed a long break. For years, I was managing @somnuri @nethrock @lamacchiamusic and doing PR for @back_from_zero along with a few others while working at @revolvermag & BrooklynVegan and playing in my own bands @spotlightsmusic @julie_christmas_official & more.

In March of 2025, I quit working for the man and have since become 💯 freelance. I teach music privately, and also at a school, plus I am a drum session player, and still play in tons of bands while being a marketing director at @newnoisemagazine and have gotten a few bands signed like @heldsounds & @lowheavenband on @mnrkmusic and @heavyhalo.nyc on @silent_pendulum_records but as of late, lots of people have been hitting me to manage and do PR. At a certain point, you have to welcome these things as a sign that maybe it’s your calling so here I am. I am managing and/or handling publicity for the following artists w/ the help of @heathentemple

Music keeps me alive (emotionally and financially) and it brings me great pleasure to do whatever I can to help artists also achieve their dreams and aspirations even in the smallest of ways through a video premiere, a show, a label deal, etc. Thanks to these artists past and present who have hit me up and trusted me in any way to help guide their careers in one way or another.

Powerchild Mgmt & PR is a full-service artist management and public relations agency dedicated to helping musicians grow their careers. The agency provides strategic support across artist management, label and booking agency pitching, publicity, marketing campaigns, social media management, tour promotion, travel coordination, and day-to-day business operations.

We welcome Audio Specialist, Mario Quintero to the roster. Since his early days of boombox to boombox overdubbing, Quintero has not stopped experimenting with, and learning new (and old) recording and production techniques. His love for the music surpasses any technical “rules” or need for an expensive piece of gear. After his time in San Diego, where he owned and operated Black Box Studios, he and his wife Sarah moved to Brooklyn where they formed the band Spotlights and went on to tour with the likes of Deftones, Melvins, Quicksand, Glassjaw, Hum and more…

Mario now resides in Pittsburgh, PA, focusing his efforts between performing in Spotlights, and working with other bands and artists, whether it be producing, mixing, mastering, writing, arranging or simply acting as a consultant on the process. Some artists he’s worked with include:

If you’ve been a part of this channel at all, you’ll know that @faerie_ring are the homies. With that comes the almighty @silver_linings_matt . Matt beats the drums for Faerie Ring (1/4 of a powerhouse combo).

Matt is much more than a drummer. First and foremost he’s a Father, a husband, a gentleman and an amazing multi instrumentalist that doesn’t know how to sit still.

Over the years Matt has written songs about lessons learned that he felt he needed to remind himself of. Those songs came out to be Silver Linings. The album he wrote and recorded himself with @audiomq mixing and mastering.

The episode Matt and I recorded comes out tonight at Midnight (Eastern Time) on youtube and whatever streaming platforms you use for podcasts.

The Still Out is a New York alternative/indie/shoegaze band formed in the mid 00s by producers Josh Stoddard and Arjun "Arj" Agerwala. They have a pretty fascinating story because their album Crystallized was largely overlooked when it first came out, then it was rediscovered years later and the band has returned in 2026.

Josh has sadly passed away and Arj talks about taking over those responsibilities that Josh held previously. @thestillout
