Some things bring you back right on time. The 1st time I read Acts of the Apostles was in 2020, it felt like a story. This time, it felt like INSTRUCTIONS. These reflections met me in between errands, in the quiet, in the in-between moments… God kept meeting me there, and the Holy Spirit kept revealing more.

Some of these may feel stretched. Some might challenge you. They’re not meant to be controversial, but to be thought provoking.

Jesus is always the center. And this reminded me how important it is to be Holy Spirit-led in EVERYTHING. 🤍

Motherhood has taught me such a deep, soft, gentle kind of love; one that’s helped me understand even a little more how Christ graces and loves us as His children. 🤍

Zéah truly saved my life in more ways than one. I love her little quirks, how smart she is, and how much of my younger self I see in her. Somehow, she heals parts of me too. Forever grateful God chose me to be her mama. 🩵

This year for my 27th birthday, I want to celebrate differently.

In June 2013, my mom and I were almost homeless. We were new to Canada and living in a small motel room in BC with almost nothing but a bed, our clothes, and our faith in Jesus while my mom cleaned for the motel just so we could survive.

I’ve never forgotten that season.

So this year, instead of spending hundreds on a birthday aesthetics & dinner, I decided I want to give back and serve others instead 🤍

On my exact birth day in Edmonton and June 20 in Vancouver, I’ll be distributing meals, water, hygiene kits, socks, encouragement notes, and care items to the homeless community.

A few people asked how they could support or celebrate with me this year, so I opened a small fundraiser with a $500 goal to help multiply the amount of people we can serve. Link in bio!

No pressure at all this outreach is happening either way. Donations, prayers, shares, supplies, or simply kindness are all deeply appreciated.

If you prefer to support a global initiative instead, there are a few causes you can donate to. Link in bio.

I just want Year 27 to reflect gratitude, compassion, and the love of Jesus in action 🤍
