The morning of Day 3 of The FINAL Quest Event was a bit wet but AJ was still able to teach. I love this partner drill! @practical_performance_

I couldn’t be more proud of my brother @timherronshooting for coming home with the well deserved Classic Division IPSC National Championship title!!! YEARS of hard work, dedication to the craft, hard fought battles, aggravation, sacrifice, and perseverance all led to this awesome achievement. Congrats my brother!!! No one deserves it more than you! Well earned!!! by @practical_performance_

Do you know what's worse than shooting a "down one"?

I can’t even put into words what I’m feeling right now. 16 long years of hunting one of these down. Many years of just falling 1 or 2 places short. 16 years of “well, I guess there’s always next year”.

I’ve always said, “man, if I could just win ONE. Just one…

One finally came…this weekend.

National Champion.

Sounds weird to even say. Maybe it’ll feel more real tomorrow. For now, thank you to every single one of you for your support, friendship, and congratulations wishes! It means the world to me! by @practical_performance_

Yesterday, I shot my first match and classifier since I took @timherronshooting and @practical_performance_ class six weeks ago. Since then I’ve been hitting skills I picked up from them pretty hard in dry fire to improve my consistency. It has paid off! Here I am laying down a solid A class run in the limited optics division. by @practical_performance_

What a pleasure spending a few days with these guys. Amazing shooters, teachers, coaches and people. Thank you @timherronshooting and AJ Zito from @practical_performance_ for a wonderful experience. Two more victims of the fire table get a little less sleep again. #lifesafetraining #nighthawkcustom taken in LifeSafe Training, LLC by @practical_performance_
