parts of gifs I made in 2022 from footage I took when I was a beekeeper but am only now appreciating because I’ve finally gotten over (some of) my beekeeping trauma and bees are the most beautiful and magical people to me and that’s why I made these by @prairieteeth

2024, .925 sterling silver, sandstone pebbles, quartzite, corals found in utah

money has only ever flowed backwards. no family inheritances, never money locked away for a rainy day. when the rain comes, we learn to love it. we pull weeds when the earth is soft, plant seeds just before. we know this is when the shiniest rocks float to the surface. collect the ones we love the most. family bonding through long walks in sandy washes. self-bonding through the same ways. makes today feel way smaller.

<3 an ode to my favorite tradition/lifeline/prized possessions
