As our Long Island summer comes to an end we reminisce on all of the beautiful beach parties we’ve thrown over the years! 🍋🍋‍🟩🍊

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is watching a space transform as the evening unfolds. What began in soft afternoon light became a gorgeous candlelit dinner, with long tables, lush drapery, hundreds of flickering candles, and guests settling in for the night.

These are the parts of a wedding day I love documenting just as much as the portraits—the food being served, conversations across the table, glasses being raised, and all of the atmosphere in between. The details matter, but even more so is capturing how it all felt once the room was full of people.

At @preferredeventsli , we love bringing communities together for meaningful causes. We are proud to be working alongside the dedicated staff of the National Kidney Foundation for the Long Island Kidney Walk this weekend.

Our team has completed the event setup at Belmont Lake State Park, and everything is locked, loaded, and ready for tomorrow’s walk!

If you haven’t registered yet, there is still time to support this fantastic organization.
