More old work because these are some of my favorite family formals of ALL TIME The year is 2021, we’re at @hallockvillemuseumfarm for the most epic reception following a 2020 Covid ceremony for Nick and Molly (see my famous All American photo…ok not famous but it’s a thing). Food trucks. Party rentals. The most PERFECT October day for the most beautiful couple. I’ll forever love this gallery, this day, these photos. Look how far we’ve all come! Also Molly is an incredible artist, you should look over at @whalendesign and see for yourself #longislandweddingphotographer #nofo #nofoweddings #firesidesparrow

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is watching a space transform as the evening unfolds. What began in soft afternoon light became a gorgeous candlelit dinner, with long tables, lush drapery, hundreds of flickering candles, and guests settling in for the night. These are the parts of a wedding day I love documenting just as much as the portraitsβ€”the food being served, conversations across the table, glasses being raised, and all of the atmosphere in between. The details matter, but even more so is capturing how it all felt once the room was full of people. Donna & Andrew, just before sunset in Westhampton. A few quiet moments by the water before heading back to their candlelit celebration. One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings in the Hamptons is getting to step away for a few minutes and let couples simply be together. Nothing overly posed, just movement, connection, and everything happening naturally.
