He observes. She plays.
Forgotten love lingers.
The Moon is just a pale witness to it all. Still pale.

Luna Rossa premieres on our channel @bangbang.youtubechannel this Thursday, August 6.

Directed by legendary Estonian animator Priit Pärn and co-directed by Olga Pärn, Luna Rossa is the latest film from one of animation's most influential creative duos. With more than 18 award-winning films and countless international accolades, the Pärns have shaped the history of animated cinema through their unmistakable visual language, blending surrealism, dark humor and poetic storytelling.

Don't miss the premiere. by @preiliporgand

The Feature Film Competition is open to medium- and feature-length animated works over 30 minutes in length from all around the world.

🏆 The Feature Film Grand Prix will be decided by audience evaluation and voting during the festival (August 19–23).

🎞️ The Feature Film Competition at HAS2026 presents five exceptional titles: ""Zsazsa Zaturnnah"" by Avid Liongoren, a feature adaptation of the Philippines' first queer-superheroine comic; ""The Golden Man,"" a story inspired by a legendary Kazakh hero; ""Memory Hotel,"" masterfully crafted over 25 years by German director Heinrich Sabl; ""A Mighty Adventure"" by Toh Yuen; and ""Luna Rossa"" by Olga & Priit Pärn.
Remarkably, all five films will be making their Japan Premiere at the festival.

Check out the rest of the selected films on the HAS2026 official website under the ""Competition"" section! ☑️
