– 👁️LUNA ROSSA: Screening and Discussion On October 1, a screening and discussion of a new film by Olga and Priit Pärn will take place at @unit.city as part of the festival. LUNA ROSSA is an absurdist, darkly humorous story about surveillance, shifting identities, and a world where it is not always clear who is watching whom — or what is really happening. After the screening, we will talk with the filmmakers about how the idea for the story emerged and gradually took shape on screen. We will discuss the animation techniques, their approach to image and movement, and the creative decisions that shaped the film’s distinctive visual style. We will talk about the advantages of Olga and Priit Pärn’s partnership, mutual influence and trust, as well as the challenges that arise when professional collaboration is also part of married life. Moderator — animation director Mykyta Lyskov.

Looking through some old stuff on my external hard drive today and found this gem - the video-invitation I've made almost TEN years ago, in 2017, to THE VERY FIRST ESTONIAN CARNIVAL ® ! The party was literally at the dorm's corridor since my room couldn't fit all the guests 😅 Its soundtrack was inspired by the very classic of MMPB (Música Maneira Popular Brasileira) "The book is on the table" because I used to play it in every possible occasion while I was living there lol! Priit and Olga even suggested I used it as my mid-term animation at school haha... I must admit that indeed the part where the table hits ❄️ icy Estonia ❄️ to transform it in 🌴 tropical Estonia 🌴 is ✨ABSOLUTE CINEMA✨ All the side jokes brought up so many memories… Good times ❤️
