Happy 32 Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I had a great day with my family and my fellow birthday bud, my dad. The last year was one of the most incredible of my life: - I toured with one of my favorite country artists of all time alongside a band & crew that quickly became family; not a moment was work. - I played on a major label country album alongside one of my musical heroes, Aaron Sterling, for one of the greatest friends and talents I’ve ever known, @austingoodloe. That makes 2 John Mayer Drummer Infinity Stones for a Room for Squares kid. - I continued working in the Nashville print music scene, a milieu of humble and hilarious geniuses who happen to be session musicians. For 7 years, I’ve been confused and terrified at my inclusion. But the laughter helped hide that fact. - I was blessed to bring my wife, my friends, and my family out to some big shows in beautiful places, a small recompense for the belief and love they’ve instilled in me along the way. - I got to spend another year with my wife and best friend, Chloe. You make it all worth it. Unfortunately, the lows also came roaring back two months ago when one of my nerves bit the dust again. I had to pass off my gig, and next week I head in for surgery #5. Not sure what comes after that, but I’m starting to see a way forward. Regardless, I’m proud to say I’ve made the most of what I had to give.
