“No margin, no mission.”

President Beck A. Taylor and IMC Financial Consulting CEO Isaac M. Cooper discuss a reality every mission-driven organization has to understand: impact requires sustainability.

For leaders of large nonprofit organizations, the mission may be the heart of the work, but strong financial strategy helps ensure that mission can continue. President Taylor shares his perspective on leading a large institution, generating the resources necessary to support its vision, and balancing purpose with the financial realities of leadership.

A powerful conversation on stewardship, strategy, and building organizations that can sustain the mission for years to come.

Sometimes God changes the direction of our lives through the people He places in our path.
President Beck A. Taylor shares the redemptive story of his life and the powerful role his stepfather played in helping redirect his path.

What looked like one relationship became part of a much bigger story of transformation, purpose, and God’s grace.

This conversation is a reminder that our past doesn’t get the final word. God can use people, moments, and even unexpected chapters to lead us exactly where He intends for us to go.

Throwback Thursday starts here.

Just last week, the Class of 2026 walked across the stage, turned their tassels, and celebrated the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

From heartfelt speeches by Salutatorian Ryann Mahoney and Valedictorian Grace Sabetimani to a powerful Commencement address by Dr. Beck A. Taylor, President of Samford University, the evening was filled with joy, tradition, and moments the WA family will never forget. The presentation of the Distinguished Alumnus Award to Laura Blake ’86 Murphy made the night even more special.

And as the evening closed with diplomas, LPA Bibles, and standing ovations, one thing was clear: these graduates are ready to shine God’s light wherever He leads them next.

We already miss you, Class of 2026.

I’m so grateful for this group of pilgrims who journeyed to Turkey with Julie and me. These two weeks have been a gift as we explored scripture in the very places it was written. Turkey is a beautiful country with amazing people and culture. Thank you, Samford adventurers! #GoBulldogs #AllForSAMford taken in Ephesus Celcius Library by @prezbecktaylor
