Primal Moves is a floor based flow practice built on developing a strong foundation through fundamentals.

Our four core classes:
• Primal
• Moves
• Progressions
• Handstands

Each class is designed to be progressive, focusing on:
• Push and pull balance
• Joint stability
• Mobility
• Skill development through intentional repetition

Through bipedal and quadrupedal bodyweight movement, the body begins to re-pattern physical cognition and motor coordination.

As fascial densification reduces tissue glide and adaptability, Primal Moves stimulates hydration, elasticity, and neuromyofascial communication to bring the body back into balance. by @primalmovesmethod

Primal Moves is a raw, floor based movement system that rebuilds strength, coordination, and mobility using pushing and pulling.

No machines.
No fluff.

Just intelligent movement using
your body
the floor
a high bar
and a wall

In a world that isolates, digitises and individualises wellness, we invite you
to remember what has innately existed
long before gyms did:

collective effort
play
shared spaces
 and presence

We believe strength grows exponentially
through community, and that movement is
a social language.

Belonging is built through moving forward together, side by side.

Primal is not only about optimising life.
It is about participating in it fully, with integrity, honesty and together.

Primal is an agitator.
It moves that which is stuck.

THE 4-TIER SYSTEM

Primal Moves is a progressive training system designed to scale with you:

1. Primal - Strength – Anterior & Posterior body balancing
2. Moves -  Foundations – rebuild basic patterns
3. Progressions – Skill set refinement
4. Handstands – Embodied presence through intentional repetitive practice

The goal? A body that responds, not just reacts.

A body that’s adaptable, stable, and built to last. by @primalmovesmethod

Play is one of the fastest ways to learn movement, and the science backs it up.

Playful movement increases activity of certain brain chemicals that support learning, helping your brain build and strengthen the neural pathways (the brain’s communication routes) involved in picking up new skills.

As you practice a new movement skill, your brain moves through three stages:
* Cognitive stage: You’re thinking about every part of the movement, often overanalyzing it
* Associative stage: The pattern is understood, but still needs practice to feel natural
* Autonomous stage: The movement becomes automatic and effortless

Intentional repetition is what moves you through these stages.

It strengthens the neural pathways involved and helps your nervous system remember the pattern long-term. by @primalmovesmethod

The shoulder is your most mobile joint, and one of your most demanding.

It’s actually several joints working together: the main ball-and-socket, the shoulder blade against the ribcage, and two small joints linking the collarbone to the shoulder blade and breastbone.

Its shallow socket allows huge range, but it relies on muscles, tendons, and connective tissue (not bone) for stability.

That means strength and control are what keep it safe. by @primalmovesmethod

The Low Lunge takes the standard lunge deeper by dropping onto the forearms for a more intense stretch through the front of the body.

By lowering onto the forearms, the front leg sinks deeper into hip flexion while the back leg extends further into hip extension, stretching the front line of the body from two directions at once. This reaches connective tissue that’s harder to access in a standing or upright lunge.

Holding this deeper position gives the tissue time to gradually lengthen and open, rather than forcing range through movement alone. by @primalmovesmethod

We didn't design the community. People kept coming back. Then they started bringing people.

12,000 a year now come through one door on a small island. Not because it was marketed.

Because the practice works and because there is something about doing it in a room with other people that a screen cannot replicate.

In a world that isolates, digitises and individualises wellness, Primal invites you to remember what has innately existed long before gyms did: collective effort, play, shared spaces and presence. by @primalmovesmethod

In our sessions, the back body is trained as much as the front.

Most people are “front-body dominant,” through imbalanced training.

This imbalance can lead to compensation patterns elsewhere in the body.

Our training helps even that out. by @primalmovesmethod

Moving together is what makes Primal Moves what it is

Yes, it’s amazing for our bodies

AND… it’s the moving together that supports our growth even more. We build strength as we build connections.

Have you moved with us yet? 🫶🏼🤸🏼‍♂️

The Frog to Tuck is from the Primal Progression tool box that builds an understanding of momentum and control needed for handstand practice.

The Frog is a dynamic move that is an intentional drill to learn dynamic to static holds.

Very quickly you will learn and gain confidence of moving the centre of mass, the hip, up over the shoulder and hands.

Through repetition you will become effortless in floating into a tuck handstand from any dynamic move by @primalmovesmethod
