@LincolnCenter and Jonathon Heyward @ConverseConductor earn glowing reviews in @NYTimes for the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center’s 2026 season!

Music & Artistic Director Jonathon Heyward is praised for programming that puts new music in conversation with the classics — making it look easy, but as the Times notes, “that’s no small feat.”

@JessieMontgomeryMusic’s cello concerto “These Righteous Paths,” performed by @AbelSelaocoe in its NY Premiere, was among the season’s most celebrated moments.

🎻 On this day in 1969, @ItzhakPerlmanOfficial @PinkyZukerman @Jacqueline_du_Pre_Official, @DBarenboim and Zubin Mehta — five close friends, all rising to international prominence — came together at the newly built Queen Elizabeth Hall in London for a performance of Schubert’s Trout Quintet.

The concert was immortalized by filmmaker Christopher Nupen in the documentary “The Trout,” one of the most celebrated music films ever made.

Discover more of Nupen’s work with Perlman this October 9 on @PBS with the airing of “Itzhak Perlman: Virtuoso Violinist.”

Violinist Randall Goosby @ItsGooz shared a special reunion with actor Delroy Lindo, who over a decade ago invited a 13-year-old Randall to perform at a Beverly Hills gala after he became the youngest-ever winner of the Sphinx Concerto Competition.

A truly full-circle moment ✨

We’re so incredibly proud of this album, a perfect encapsulation of the 15-year collaboration between the @asmf_orchestra and Music Director Joshua Bell. Together, we reached beyond the virtuosic demands of Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 to reveal the work’s operatic drama, charm and wit.

For Your GRAMMY® Consideration in Best Orchestral Recording ⭐️

@Cristian.Macelaru and @OrchestreNationaldeFrance present two extraordinary recordings: “Elsa Barraine: Symphonies Nos. 1 & 2,” a composer long overdue for rediscovery, and “Ravel Paris 2025,” a celebration of French music recorded live in Paris during Ravel’s 150th anniversary year.

Two albums. Two composers. One orchestra.

First round voting is open until October 22.
