Battle of the Plains – Cam Newton 7v7 Tournament | Auburn, Alabama

What an experience this weekend for the boys.
This trip was bigger than football.

On the way to the Battle of the Plains 7v7 Tournament, we stopped at three major universities so the kids could see what the next level really looks like.

🏈 University of Florida – Thank you to my Hurricane brother @brandon_harrissr (DB Coach) for connecting us with the recruiting staff and making sure the boys received a VIP tour of the facilities.

🏈 Florida State University – Appreciate @coach_tharrisjr (OC) for connecting us with the recruiting staff and helping provide that same VIP experience for the kids.

🏈 Auburn University – Big thanks to my Hurricane brother @coach_dvd8 (Defensive Coach) for putting us in position with the recruiting staff and making sure the boys got a first-class look at the Auburn program.

All three of these coaches are former Miami Hurricane teammates, and it meant a lot for the boys to witness that brotherhood, network, and support at the highest level.

Huge shoutout to @coachblu_ & @mattyicesensei for helping make this trip happen.
This is something the boys will never forget.

@sleeve_king and I were in the kitchen cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, and taking care of everything and it was important for the boys to see that.
At the end of the day, we came to compete in the Cam Newton 7v7 Tournament and represent Southwest Florida…

…and these boys showed up.

We’ve got a special group, and I truly believe some of these same kids will be playing at the same universities we just visited.

This is what it looks like when kids from southwest Florida start chasing big dreams.

Not just talking about it…
Not just seeing it on TV…

But walking through those facilities
Getting that VIP treatment
Seeing how college programs really operate

That changes everything.

Because once a young athlete experiences it up close…
It’s no longer a dream.

It becomes real.

And now they believe:

👉 “That can be me.”

⸻

Exposure. Opportunity. Brotherhood.
