What if, for one morning, you became the artist? 🎨✨

CCBU invites you to a hands-on creative experience with Brazilian artist Priscila Schott, where inspiration moves beyond observation and becomes something you can shape with your own hands.

Based in Miami, Priscila has developed a distinctive artistic language in which geometry, color, movement, and play come together across sculpture, painting, and installation. Rooted in Brazil’s constructivist tradition and influenced by her background in technology, her work transforms simple forms into dynamic compositions that invite interaction and imagination. Her work has been presented across South Florida and at major cultural events including Pinta Miami and Miami Art Week.

Now it’s your turn to create alongside her! Spend the morning exploring the sculptural process, make your own piece to take home, and be part of an experience with an even greater purpose: each creation supports @ipti_us and its work with Brazilian communities.

📅 Tuesday, September 29 · 10 AM–1 PM
📍 Emporium B Gallery
🎟️ Registration: $120

Ancient forms. Contemporary materials. One conversation across centuries.

Panel 20_III by Priscilla Schott is now on display as part of OMA’s Echoes of the Ancient in Contemporary Voice collection. Drawing on the geometric precision of Indigenous architecture, textiles, and ritual objects, Schott reimagines these timeless patterns through the lens of minimalism and her background in computer science.

Not relics. Living ideas. Come see for yourself.

INSTALLATION DAY at Orlando Museum of Art

Watching my geometric panels come together for “Echoes of the Ancient in Contemporary Voices” is a special moment.

Through natural wood, color, and negative space, this collection explores our timeless desire to find order, structure, and meaning. Circles, squares, rectangles, and repeated lines echo ancient architecture and symbolic systems, while their modular compositions speak to modern technology and digital coding.

A dialogue between past and present, revealing how simple shapes continue to influence the way we understand and organize our world.

TWINS by Priscila Schott
Inspired by Priscila’s life as a twin, this project uses the same elements, arranged differently, a reflection of a shared bond, while allowing each personality to remain entirely its own.

Where it all started.
Painting was my first step into the world of art, the place where I first discovered the freedom of creating and the joy of expressing myself without boundaries.
There is something incredibly peaceful about standing in front of a blank canvas. An empty space filled with possibility, waiting for a story to unfold.
Like every story, there is always a first chapter. This was mine, the moment I found myself doing what I truly love.
Sharing a few pieces from that beginning, and a part of my journey that will always be close to my heart. #brazilianartist #comtemporaryart #priscilaschottart taken in Miami, Florida by @priscilaschottart

Today we installed Coastlines, my new outdoor public sculpture for the City of Margate, New Jersey.

Inspired by the essence of the city itself, Coastlines is an abstract geometric sculpture made of aluminum. Designed for a coastal environment, the work explores balance, light, and movement while creating a space where art and the community can connect. Thank you to @miguel.montana.37 for all the support.

It is an honor to contribute a permanent public artwork that becomes part of the city’s landscape and everyday life.

Creating this special artwork for IPTI US , THE HUMAN PROJECT , is a journey that fills my heart with compassion, gratitude, and hope.
For many years, I have proudly supported this remarkable institution, whose work transforms lives through education, art, innovation, and opportunities for children and families in underserved communities across Brazil.
Knowing that my artwork can contribute, even in a small way, to such meaningful causes makes this creation especially emotional and rewarding. Art has the power to connect, inspire, and create positive change, and this piece was created with that purpose in mind.
