While we were still sleeping at Niponino camp, after descending the Titanic on Torre Egger, @jeff_t_wright and I missed our taxi ride to the airport. When the taxi arrived at our hostel, Aylen Aike, the taxi driver woke up Korra Pesce who was sleeping in the room where we had previously slept.

Korra notified the hostel owner and Rolando Garibotti who were all quite worried and notified the rescue team, the Park Service, and sent queries to France and Seattle as the weather was forecasted to be quite bad that day.

Rolo was able to reach us finally on our inReach so everyone knew that we were safe, but it was a major lesson for us. We will never let that happen again!

We were grateful to @korra_pesce and @rolo_garibotti for getting everything set up for a rescue if needed, unfortunately it was Korra who would be needing the rescue the following week. He will be greatly missed.

When we made our way back to town, we arranged our new flights, we opted not to find new sleeping quarters and instead went to the discotheque with our friends and danced until our shuttle arrived at 4am. We slept soundly on the plane ride back to Seattle, making a 11 day successful round trip to Patagonia . Then we went back to our 9-5 jobs

Work hard, play hard, party hard.

We had Good Evans 5.10d on the Black Wall to ourselves!
Gorgeous day out on Mt Evans!

The trigger wire on my BD #3 broke on the roof pitch. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe some fishing line would help in an emergency if I needed to use it again. Good thing I didn’t. taken in Mount Evans by @prittyright

We did D7 on the Diamond! 💎 🎲
We got back to our stuff just as the hail and thunder started. Third time’s a charm… ✨

Lessons that made it possible:
- choose the route with no one on it
- bring more layers than you think you will need
- extra water is over rated
- Diamox is lovely

What an incredible way to climb the Naked Edge, with who else but Kate Kelleghan! @katekelleghan 🧗‍♀️

She sure is fast and inspiring! Bridge to bridge took 2:49, with Kate leading every pitch: exponentially faster than my last time up! 😳

I got the last pitch clean this time! Wooo! 🥳

…although I struggled on the second-to-last pitch, which I nearly sent with a backpack last time. 😂 Progress is weird. by @prittyright
