No rest! Rockfield Studios 2027 here we come 👊🐑🎸

11 - 15 May we'll be back at the world famous studio on the farm @rockfieldstudios as the UK's premier and longest running songwriting retreat where we eat, sleep, write, record and repeat with our tried and tested formula that guarantees the most unexpected results in the best possible way.

At our last retreat, 24 writers and 5 producers wrote, recorded and produced 19 songs in just 3 days 💥 Every night the playbacks throw open the doors on what each room's been building, then we close it out with a live lounge that always leaves the place buzzing and hungry for more.

And next year? We're going bigger. We're launching our first ever studio built for TV, film and game composition, and at the helm is @owengurry, a composer, guitarist and sound designer with Hollywood on his CV, from Blade Runner 2049 to A Cure for Wellness, Thirteen Lives and War Machine, plus a hand in two Grammy nominated projects 🤯

He joins the team who make Pro7ect what it is: founder and producer Lisa Fitz, producer Gethin Pearson (Charli XCX, Bloc Party), Grammy winning Rockfield engineers Joe Jones and Jack Boston (The Cure, Pixies, Manic Street Preachers), plus award winning photographer Ian Wallman. And there are more names still to come.

Five seats are already sold and gone! With huge demand, don't sleep on this. The next spot has your name on it.

Apply today for a chat at www.pro7ect.com/apply

Early bird rate ends 31 October. Alumni fam get 10% off, always ❤️‍🔥

So, will we be seeing you at Rockfield next year?

That's it folks! It's a wrap on Pro7ect '26. Our Autumn retreat was a roaring success! With early feedback calling it "inspiring, intense and creative" we'll take that every day of the week.

24 artists joined us to write and record 17 songs in 5 studios in 3 days!!! 🤯

As the sun rises after the last night at Rockfield we're wondering what the f*** just happened? Was that real? How much creativity can you squeeze out of 24 artists living at the Studio on the Farm in Wales? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 17 songs worth baby!!! Written, recorded and produced… from scratch!!!

Huge thanks to all our amazing artists who showed up and brought their A game. You stood on the cliff and didn't flinch as you dove in, and for that we salute you. We hope you leave us inspired, with a sense of accomplishment and topped up on human connection, which is what this space is all about.

To our world class producers @gethinpearson @charlieeeee @patchboshell @@lewinmusician @sam_williams_music your work ethic, expertise and unique styles and approaches are the secret sauce of what makes each of these retreats so special. Thank you for giving us your time, your attention and your knowledge.

Jack and Joe, our engineer extraordinaires, it simply wouldn't be a Pro7ect retreat without you ❤️ and to Ian Wallman, your eye for capturing these moments is second to none. You can make a door handle look album cover ready and we're so grateful for the time you spend capturing it all.

Finally, but not least, thank you to Kingsley, Ann, Lisa and Amanda @rockfield_.1 for letting us call Rockfield home, and to @astringsuk for being our sponsors. Special shout out to @yamahamusiclondon, @laneyamplification and @headstockuk for the gear loans that make our writing rooms sound so pro. And Jack the cat, our musical support animal 🐾

Feeling those post retreat and masterclass blues? We're already cooking up something special for 2027. Two headliners already locked in (watch this space) and you can be first on the list for your place at www.pro7ect.com/apply

Until then, thank you for joining the Pro7ect family!

Not online. Not a course. The UK's longest running songwriting retreat. A real life experience.

11 years. Almost 250 artists. 220+ tracks. Writers fly in from Australia, Canada and beyond. Then they never stop writing together.

Five days inside Rockfield. Three writing days. Same rooms as Queen, Oasis and The Stone Roses. Same piano as Bohemian Rhapsody.

Join Owen Gurry (Blade Runner 2049), Gethin Pearson (Charli XCX), Lisa Fitz, plus Grammy winning engineers Joe Jones and Jack Boston (The Cure). More names coming.

How is it October already?!?!

Feels like we were only in our happy place, writing, recording and having one of our most successful retreats today just last week.

We've still not come down from the high but are busy firming up final producer lineups for next May where we keep pushing the limits and connecting like minded people together ❤️

Don't forget we're offering our early bird discounts 🐦till end of the month and if youve been with us before either at the retreat or masterclass you get 10% off forever.

Fun day guitar shopping with Lisa Fitzgibbon at @astringsuk. She came home wlth this lovely Yamaha. I stuck to my 1 in 1 out policy and (despite enjoying the selection of Taylors) just bought strings and a tuner

And to those who support it — @pickledpumpkinuk , @astringsuk , @laneyamplification , @yamahamusiclondon ,
Shout outs to @austrian_audio , Rich @dpa_microphones, @audeze_official and @solovairuk for helping me do what I do.

Yesterday we had 7 tracks written from scratch in a single day, another record broken for a Pro7ect retreat. For us that's a sign that the right mix of experience, eagerness, creativity and inspiration has officially been struck.

Friday, our last full writing day in the studio, is always a sweet sad day when we wish we could do it forever. The gratitude lands. We are real people, face to face, making real music in a humble, human form. So much power in one place. The calm, green fields around Rockfield feeding the vibe today.

Teams are still busy putting on final vocal harmonies, comping and mixing the tracks in a race to finish before we break bread for dinner one last time, the songs from the retreat playing in the background and a chance to let your hair down now the work is done.

For those hungry for more, some will stay on for Saturday's masterclass with @samwilliamsmusic and we will welcome a new group of fresh faces and ideas into the studio for our swan song of 2026.

Did we mention there's nowhere else we'd rather be?

Happy to report that Rockfield magic is in the air and the synergy between our artists and headline producers is popping, including a record breaking live room song ready by 3pm!

Anyone who's been in that pressure cooker before can appreciate how mind-blowing that is. Just another day in the office for Lewin though. He holds the keys.

Charlie brought the drum and bass and their playbacks have been so insightful, not just rolling the tapes but taking us all on the journey of how we got here. The learning never stops.

Patch 'lightning' Boshell's rooms have been producing 2 song days! Both finished, proper, absolute tunes. No biggy eh!

Gethin's been showing he's a master at unlocking those deep and meaningful moments, knowing which idea to noodle and then layering his unmistakable gold dust all over it to make the most interesting tracks that forcing those heads to start bobbing.

Meanwhile tales from Lisa's room include a long time member of the fam stepping up to guide the room supporting in producer capacity and taking deeper ownership of the process. Again, just amazing opportunities for constant and continued development here at Pro7ect.

Energy high. Outputs incredible. Producers proving their knowledge and expertise is gonna get your songs across the line and push you to go further than you thought you could.

Which room would you want to be locked in right now?

Get some rest fam, we go again tomorrow!

You're all settled in? Beds were comfy? Rockfield tour complete? Well there's coffee on the pot and a chalkboard with your name on it 'cause writing day 1 of Pro7ect Autumn Retreat at Rockfield has officially begun and 7pm playback sessions wait for no one.

So much excitement out the gate as our first writing teams get familiar with each other and the producing style of their headliner. Tried and tested. Experimental. Emotion-led. It's the most inspiring morning you're ever going to have, and by the time these guitars are set against the wall tonight we'll have our first five songs!

Go on team 👏 let's make some of that Pro7ect Magic. Should we share some samples from the rooms??? 💯

As always thanks to our sponsors @astringsuk and if you want in for next year, express your interest for 2027 at www.pro7ect.com
