We’re officially Shopify Platinum Partners. 🥳

Platinum recognises the depth of our Shopify expertise, the quality of our work, and the ambitious brands that trust us to solve complex ecommerce challenges.

But for us, it’s also recognition of how we work.

✔️ Solve the right problem.
✔️ Make complexity feel simple.
✔️ Create experiences customers want to use.
✔️ Build for what comes next.

We’ve always believed the best ecommerce experiences come from understanding the business problem first, then bringing strategy, creativity and technology together to solve it.

Becoming a Shopify Platinum Partner is a huge milestone for our team, and one we’re incredibly proud to share.

To our clients, partners and every member of the Process team who helped get us here, thank you. by @process_creative

We’ve had a lot of fun with this project and we’re excited to share a recently refreshed website for @larkdistillery following their recent brand evolution. 🙌

Lark Distillery has been a long-time partner of ours, so when they unveiled a bold new visual identity developed by Love Creative, we were thrilled to help bring it to life on @shopify .

The work focused on rebuilding key high-visibility pages within their Shopify Plus platform to reflect the new brand, optimising the theme architecture and refining the UX across the site. That meant improving product discovery, streamlining navigation, and reducing friction across the journey.

The result is a site that makes it easier for customers to explore the range, connect with the story behind the whisky, and find what they’re looking for.

The goal was simple: a Shopify build that felt as considered and crafted as the brand itself.

A great collaboration bringing the new Lark visual identity to life! by @process_creative

We like to stretch our team's creative thinking sometimes even after the laptops close, although Friday Happy Hour’s spaghetti tower challenge may have stretched the definition of “structurally sound”. Turns out ecommerce expertise doesn’t necessarily translate to pasta-based architecture. 😆

We also took a little time out to say a proper thank-you to the team behind a big recent project, heading to Archie Rose for a blend-your-own gin class. Great work deserves to be celebrated, and this crew certainly earned it.

And back at Process HQ, the last of Sydney’s cold Fridays called for pizza at the studio. We’re very happy to report that spring finally seems to be getting its act together with some warmer weather finally happening.

There’s always a lot going on behind the scenes here. Great work comes first, but making Process a genuinely good place to do that work matters just as much.

A very good September. Bring on October. 🙌 by @process_creative

Growth has a way of exposing the weak points in an ecommerce experience.

The navigation that worked for 50 products does not necessarily work for 500.

As @bondisands evolved from a self tanning brand into a broader beauty destination, its ecommerce experience needed to help customers discover, understand and confidently shop an increasingly diverse product range.

To support that, we:
✓ Redesigned navigation and product discovery around how customers actually shop.
✓ Built a custom UV Reader and Shade Finder to bring more personalised guidance into the buying journey.
✓ Integrated Yotpo and Bazaarvoice to strengthen trust, community and social proof.
✓ Leveraged Rebuy to deliver smarter merchandising and more relevant product recommendations.

Every element was designed to reduce friction, build purchase confidence and create a more connected Shopify experience.

We’ve worked with Australian Bush Flower Essences for over 6 years now, continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience, strengthen conversion and help the platform evolve as the business has grown.

That’s meant everything from homepage and PDP optimisation to a custom Remedy Builder, personalised wellbeing quiz, loyalty, merchandising and ongoing CRO.

And those improvements have compounded.
✓ 52% increase in revenue
✓ 72% increase in orders
✓ 16% increase in site conversion
✓ 14% increase in returning customers

But the part we’re most proud of is captured in Nastassia’s words.

“I've worked with Process Creative for over 6 years across two different businesses, and one of the reasons I've continued that relationship is because they're genuinely invested in our success. The team take the time to understand our business, bring great ideas to the table and are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. They've become a trusted extension of our team and our long-term partnership has played a big part in the growth we've achieved over the years.” - Nastassia Lane, Marketing Manager, Australian Bush Flower Essences

Becoming a trusted extension of our clients’ teams is exactly the kind of partnership we aim to build.

August was a big one at Process! We officially hit Shopify Platinum Partner status, a huge milestone for our team and one we’re incredibly proud of. 🥳

Hannah Udina & Raven Addei from the Shopify team helped us mark the occasion with a celebration cake before we headed out for a delicious lunch at @armoricasurryhills.

We also sat down with Shopify for our H1 2026 Half-Year Business Review, reflecting on a strong first half and what’s ahead for Process, our clients and the wider Shopify ecosystem.

Eating and celebrating was definitely a theme - we also hosted a partner dinner with Marie Perry & Ed Womersley from Hustle at @nourrestaurant. We were apparently having such a good time that nobody remembered to take a photo. We’ll take that as a good sign.

A milestone month for Process, with plenty more to come. 🙌 by @process_creative

Bondi Sands has a new digital home.

As Bondi Sands evolved from a self-tanning brand into a broader beauty destination, its ecommerce experience needed to help customers discover, understand, and confidently shop an increasingly diverse product range.

We partnered with the Bondi Sands team to redesign and rebuild its Shopify experience around easier discovery, clearer product education and a more seamless path to purchase.

The result is a more connected digital experience that better reflects the brand Bondi Sands is today, while giving its growing range room to shine.

We’re proud to have partnered with the team on this one. Take a look. by @process_creative

One of the strange things about ecommerce businesses is that they can become slower as they grow.

Revenue increases. Teams expand. More platforms, processes and approval layers are introduced.

All of that is understandable. But eventually, changes that once took a few weeks start taking several months.

We see this quite often when working with larger retail brands. It is easy to assume that it is simply the cost of operating at scale, but I don’t think it has to be.

The businesses that continue to move quickly tend to be quite disciplined about removing friction as they grow, rather than allowing it to accumulate.

A few useful questions to ask:

1. How long does it take to launch something genuinely useful for customers?

If a landing page, merchandising improvement or new product experience takes months rather than weeks, where is the time actually going?

2. How many people need to approve a meaningful ecommerce change?

Governance is important, but not every decision needs to pass through a committee.

3. How much of the roadmap is improving the customer experience, rather than maintaining or working around existing systems?

If maintenance consumes most of the available capacity, innovation will inevitably slow down.

4. When was the last time you removed something?

Growing ecommerce businesses become very good at adding technology, processes and features. The strongest are equally disciplined about simplifying them.

There is always plenty of discussion about what to add next.

Sometimes the better question is: what is already slowing us down, and do we still need it? by @process_creative

Two days. Hundreds of developers. Thousands of conversations. One clear takeaway.

Shopify is moving faster than ever.

Andy and Hericlis spent the week in Toronto for DotDev 2026, Shopify’s developer event bringing together the engineers, product teams, agencies and technology partners shaping what comes next for the platform.

The week started with The Retention Collective’s World Cup Final event, followed by a partner event with Nosto and a series of ecosystem dinners before two days of diving into what’s next at DotDev.

Unsurprisingly, AI was a major theme. But what stood out wasn’t simply another wave of AI features. It was how deeply AI is beginning to influence Shopify’s broader approach to commerce and development.

Alongside new APIs, developer tooling and platform capabilities, there’s more becoming possible for merchants. But more capability also creates a harder question: what’s actually worth investing in?

It was also great catching up with so many partners and friends across the week, including Jim Lofgren (Nosto), Yeemun Tsang (Shopify), Matt Garven and Jonathan Fulcher (Okendo), Mike (MJ) Brennan (Milexi), Kiril Climson and Paul Goldston (Order Editing), Andrew Lim (360&5), plus the teams from LoyaltyLion, Loox and many more.

The week wrapped up in true Shopify style, with a huge block party bringing developers, partners and Shopify teams together.

The biggest takeaway?
Agentic commerce will change where shopping journeys begin and how much of the decision is made before a customer reaches a storefront.

It will not remove the fundamentals of commerce.‍

The merchants best placed to benefit will be the ones with product information that machines can understand, experiences that people can trust and a clear view of where technology creates real commercial value.‍

New capability does not create competitive advantage on its own.

Knowing what matters, making the right choices and executing them well does.

We’ve unpacked what we learned at DotDev, what’s changing across Shopify and what we think deserves merchants’ attention.

AI experiments, dev nights, birthday brownies and Aussie flags. July delivered 😆

We put the team’s ideas to work with a Process Hackathon. This was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, experiment with AI, and see what we could build when the whole team got involved.

Andy and Hericlis headed to Toronto for @shopify DotDev, joining developers, agencies, technology partners and Shopify product teams from around the world. The big theme? AI is quickly changing how people discover, compare and buy products, and that has some pretty significant implications for how merchants think about product data, storefronts and their ecommerce roadmaps.

They came home with plenty to unpack, but perhaps the biggest takeaway was a reassuring one: new technology doesn’t replace good ecommerce strategy. As building gets faster and new capabilities emerge, knowing what’s actually worth investing in becomes even more important. Check out our blog for more on that.

We also celebrated Sam’s birthday, which meant another round of those dangerously good @cocoandbean brownies. They’re quickly becoming a Process birthday tradition. (And yes, the Aussie flags were still up from the soccer!)
