Your mind carries more power than you give it credit for.

Recovery often comes down to how willing you are to believe in your body's ability to heal just as much as the actions you take to help it.

Nobody can heal your body for you.

Doctors and physicians can help a lot, but true recovery begins when full responsibility is accepted. Period.

After a lifetime of exploring movement, Yair was told something that challenged his strongest conviction: "You don't know how to use your body.”

What followed was a journey of unlearning, reconnecting, and discovering the great intelligence that exists within the human body.

Yair is a revolutionary movement explorer, teacher, and lifelong student of the body. Since childhood, he's explored everything from competitive sports and calisthenics to Pilates, yoga, acrobatics, capoeira, and dance. But it was through his experiences with injury, pain, and recovery that his perspective on movement began to fundamentally change.

We explore the connection between mind and body, the relationship between physical and emotional pain, why authentic posture has little to do with standing straight, and how sometimes the harder we try, the further we move from where we want to be.

Yair also shares the deeply personal experiences that led him to create Rewire—an approach that combines realizations from the many movement fields he's explored into one perspective: rewiring the system from within, unlearning what we no longer need, remembering powerful movement patterns, and unleashing our authentic posture and movement.

At its heart, this conversation is about bridging the gap between mind and body, between our modern lifestyle and the nature within us—and rediscovering our natural ability to move with freedom.

Stop expecting it to end.

No matter how good a place you get to, suffering will always arise again eventually in some way or another.

Learn to lean into it instead. Choose to see its gifts, its lessons, the way it sculpts your mind and life.

Look for beauty in every moment and you'll always find it, somewhere – often hiding in plain sight.

And the more you begin to appreciate life—all of it—the more life will give you to appreciate.

Promise.

The smallest moments during childhood can implant the strongest unconscious stories inside our mind.

And it's these stories running beneath the surface that shape our internal beliefs, which in turn sculpt most if not all of our thoughts and actions for decades until we finally become conscious of them.

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." Carl Jung

The quality of your state of consciousness completely alters everything you do or experience.

And the single highest quality state of consciousness arises first and foremost through acceptance, or surrender.

Releasing the need to control or change your circumstances paradoxically gives your infinitely more power and capability to do so.

The ability to adapt to what each season of life asks of you is the greatest skill for growth.

Clinging to familiarity and comfort leaves you stagnant and impotent.

Embrace change. Seek discomfort. Confront fear.

It's dangerously easy to confuse an intellectual grasping of wisdom with a cellular embodiment of it.

But without the latter the former is next to useless.

Not to say a conceptual understanding isn't incredibly valuable in the guidance towards true knowing...

But stopping there creates a subtle, insidious pedestal for the ego to lift itself up on.

And life is very diligent about knocking you off it eventually, one way or another.

You can go months without food, weeks without water, days without sleep, but only minutes without breathing.

The breath is the most important function the human and all regulation begins and ends with it.

Every person's mind develops resentments, but the important things to realize are this:

1. They are not you. They are merely aspects of your psyche.

2. They simply need love. Not judgment or rejection.

The gateway to love is acceptance, which is to see beyond the veil the mind place over consciousness.

Only then can true understanding begin to grow and the gradual process of transcendence begin.

The shattering of the ego is always blessing.

Because every time it calcifies you become stuck within a limited dimension of consciousness.

And the only way to evolve to the level above is to have your ego broken so you can build yourself back even better than before.

Slowly shifting destructive reactive patterns to circumstances.

That's the whole journey of growth.
