As we wait for the tricolour to wave at another Le Mans and begin our 25th consecutive participation, we take a moment to recognise what makes this race so special.

Not just the cars, or the history, but the people who choose to take it on.

It’s the competition, the shared determination, the level of commitment across every team on the grid, that gives this race its meaning.

Every race begins the same way.

Turn 1.

This #MotorsportWeekend, title contenders in three of motorsport’s biggest series face three very different first corners, each capable of defining a race before it’s truly begun.

At Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the season-ending Indianapolis 8 Hour sees the @intercontgtc and @gtworldchallengeamerica come together with both championships decided in a single race. The heavy-braking first corner of the infield road course offers an immediate opportunity, and an immediate risk.

Meanwhile, the @elms_official reaches its conclusion at the Algarve International Circuit. At Portimão, drivers arrive at Turn 1 over a blind crest, committing to a corner they can’t fully see until they’re almost there. It’s a fitting venue for a championship finale.

Across the world, @f1 returns to the walls of the Marina Bay Street Circuit for the Singapore Grand Prix. With little margin for error under the lights, surviving the opening complex is often the first challenge of one of the sport’s toughest races.

Another iconic first corner awaits at Mount Panorama, where the @supercarschampionship Bathurst 1000 will get underway with a charge into ‘Hell Corner’. With the field funnelled towards a ninety degree left hander, there’s little room for hesitation and even less for error. Get it right, and the foundations are laid for the next 1000 kilometres of hard racing.

Who’s brave enough to lead into the first corner... and who’s clever enough to still be leading at the finish? 🏁

When a P25 comes back through the doors at Banbury, it's a chance to recall the highly personal choices owners made when commissioning their cars.

Finished in Pearl White, this example stands apart from the image many people carry of an iconic Impreza. And that was the point.

Congratulations to @elfynevans and @scottymartin__ on becoming FIA World Rally Champions and only the third British crew to win the title.

Having seen up close what it requires, we know just how hard it is to reach the top. Winning a World Rally Championship demands speed, consistency and resilience across the entire season.

Congratulations also to @oliversolberg01 and @elliott_edmondson on a fantastic season too. They pushed the championship battle all the way and came agonisingly close. We have no doubt their day will come.

Happy 40th birthday to the BMW M3.

Since its 1986 launch, the M3 has earned its place among motorsport's most successful competition cars, winning on rally stages, race circuits, and hillclimbs worldwide.

For Prodrive, the BMW M3 played an important role in our story. We developed and ran M3s in rallying, including the car that delivered our first @officialwrc victory, and campaigned the model in the @btcc.

A championship is rarely won in a single race, stage or stint; most of the season is spent building a position. This weekend is now about defending it, protecting it, or attacking it.

Rally Italia Sardegna hosts the @officialwrc title decider, with one last rally standing between the three contenders and a world championship. The @imsa_racing season reaches its conclusion with Petit Le Mans, where titles across the categories will be decided in a race that has a habit of staying alive until the final hour.

At Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, GT World Challenge Europe crowns its Sprint Cup champions across two races, while the GT3 Revival Series brings its 2026 season to a close on the same circuit.

Across the world in Beijing, GT World Challenge Asia heads into rounds nine and ten with only one race weekend remaining after this one.

It's what makes this stage of a season so compelling. Months of work, hundreds or thousands of miles travelled, and countless decisions can still come down to the last few miles of road, a late race caution or one last push for position.

Forty years after the BMW M3 first appeared, one of the cars that helped shape Prodrive's early competition success is being prepared in our workshop ahead of this weekend's @bicestermotion Scramble.

The BMW M3 Group A from the Prodrive Heritage Collection is no museum piece. Like any competition car, it requires skilled hands and careful attention to keep it ready for the road. Today, our Prodrive Legends team has been giving it exactly that.

This Sunday, the car will join @bmwuk's 40th anniversary celebration of the BMW M3 at @wearescramblers, bringing together four decades of one of the most iconic performance cars.
