Autumn Thursdays done properly.

Any guesses where we are today? 👀

Not every lap at a race weekend is done behind the wheel. 🏃

Ahead of the 6 Hours of Barcelona, some of our Prodrive race team swapped their usual pit lane duties for a 5 km lap of the @circuitdebcncat, joining members of the @fiawec_official paddock and fans for a charity run supporting the Pau Costa Foundation.

The run raised funds for projects helping communities in Catalunya improve wildfire prevention, education and the resilience of landscapes affected by fire. To learn more about the projects, follow @paucostafoundation

Nice work, team. 👏

A familiar face has rolled back through the doors of Prodrive.

This Subaru Impreza WRC'03, campaigned by Tommi Mäkinen & Kaj Lindström, is in with the Prodrive Legends team for inspection, arriving with period documents and plenty of stories to tell.

Every Prodrive-built car has a history that starts in Banbury, before they end up around the world. Yet much of the knowledge, designs and expertise behind them is still here.

Twenty-three years on, it's good to see this one back where it all began.

Happy 40th birthday to the BMW M3.

Since its 1986 launch, the M3 has earned its place among motorsport's most successful competition cars, winning on rally stages, race circuits, and hillclimbs worldwide.

For Prodrive, the BMW M3 played an important role in our story. We developed and ran M3s in rallying, including the car that delivered our first @officialwrc victory, and campaigned the model in the @btcc.

The BMW M3 Group A from our Heritage Collection was proud to be part of BMW UK's anniversary celebration at today's Bicester Scramble.

Forty years after the BMW M3 first appeared, one of the cars that helped shape Prodrive's early competition success is being prepared in our workshop ahead of this weekend's @bicestermotion Scramble.

The BMW M3 Group A from the Prodrive Heritage Collection is no museum piece. Like any competition car, it requires skilled hands and careful attention to keep it ready for the road. Today, our Prodrive Legends team has been giving it exactly that.

This Sunday, the car will join @bmwuk's 40th anniversary celebration of the BMW M3 at @wearescramblers, bringing together four decades of one of the most iconic performance cars.

It's never easy saying goodbye to someone who has been part of the journey for so long.

Since joining Team X44 at the start of our Extreme E adventure, @cris_tortu has shared some remarkable moments with us, including a championship title, and has continued to be an important part of our story through @the_dacia_sandriders.

We've come to know not only an outstanding driver, but also a person whose warmth, resilience and character have earned enormous respect throughout the team.

While we're sad to see her move on, we're also excited to see where her journey takes her.

Thank you for everything, Cristina. It has been a privilege to work alongside you, and you'll always have friends at Prodrive.

¡Te deseamos mucha suerte!

How It Started ⏩ How It's Going

Back in 2018, this Prodrive-built Renault Mégane R.S. RX was testing with its camouflage livery and a long list of ideas to prove, including an innovative inboard brake system developed by Prodrive to reduce unsprung mass.

Eight years later, the same car is back fighting at the front.

After the previous round at Mondello Park in Ireland, the engine returned to Banbury for work before heading back to @pailler_competition. @fabien_pailler rewarded the effort with a superb victory at Lohéac, winning his home Euro RX1 round in front of one of rallycross's most passionate crowds.

A great result for Fabien and Pailler Competition. Motorsport has a habit of reconnecting people and projects years later; this was one of those occasions.

The championship now heads to Portugal for the season finale at Lousada.

Bonne chance this weekend Fabien.

#WorkshopWednesday looks a little different this week.

For the Prodrive engineers, technicians and support crew embedded within the wider JCB Hydromax team, the workshop isn't back in Banbury. It's the miles of white salt at Bonneville.

While next week's @fia.official world land speed record attempt remains the ultimate objective, this week is all about SpeedWeek. Every run is a chance to validate systems, analyse data, confirm performance and build confidence. Then do it all again, a little faster.

As speeds increase, the focus remains the same: making sure every component, every system and every process performs exactly as intended.

Bonneville has always been a place where ambition meets harsh engineering reality. Success comes from the checks, adjustments and decisions made between runs, by people who know progress is measured just as much in data and reliability as outright speed.
