HBCU Environmental Justice Technical Collaborative member Crystal T. Dixon took these photos from the @naacp 83rd Annual State Convention, held September 25–26 in High Point, North Carolina.

One of the highlights was an important Environmental Justice panel, featuring environmental advocate Sherri White-Williamson

The discussion focused on environmental inequities and the importance of making sure impacted communities have a voice in the decisions that affect their health, neighborhoods, and future.

Thank you, Crystal, for sharing a look at this important conversation and the work happening around environmental justice.

🎙️ I had the pleasure of sitting down with Wake Forest senior Jessica A. Taylor for a thoughtful conversation about public health, environmental racism, and sustainability. 🥹Here’s a clip! 🌱
