Now here's why this one matters to me.

Inspire & Awaken is in its third year, and every single event has sold out. Over 750 women have walked through those doors. Not because of hype or heavy promotion, but because of how it FEELS to be in that room. Ally Stone built something rare, and I'm honoured she asked me to be a part of it.

This year's theme is "It's never too late." I believe that one in my bones.

I landed in Canada with a diploma that turned out worthless. I stacked certifications, made a company half a million dollars while earning $14 an hour, and got told there was "no room in the budget" for a raise. So I bet on myself. I found the one strategy that actually worked, and I've since built a business and a life I didn't think was on the table for me.

It was never too late for me. It isn't for you either.

A few years ago, I asked to be on stages and got a whole lot of silence.

Some people said no. Most just never replied. I remember refreshing my inbox like the answer might change if I stared at it hard enough. It never did.

I could have taken that as proof I wasn't ready. That I needed more credentials, a bigger following, a better pitch. (I already had the diplomas stacked up. Not one of them opened a door.)

So I stopped waiting to be picked. I kept telling my story to whoever would listen. 5 people. Then 10. Then 20. Then 300.

Here is what I know now that I wish I'd known then: a "no" is almost never about you. It's about timing, fit, and a room that just hasn't met you yet.

Because a few years ago, I met Ally Stone.

I have been quietly in awe of her ever since. The community she has built. The impact she creates. The way women walk into her rooms as strangers and leave as family.

So when Ally asked me to speak at Inspire & Awaken 2026, I said yes before she finished asking. Honored is the only word for it. This is the kind of room I once wasn't sure would ever say yes to me, and now I get to stand on its stage.

The theme this year is "It's never too late." I don't just believe that. I have lived it.

🔥 8 years.

I've been sitting here trying to find the words, and the truth is simple: thank you.

Eight years of Profitable Impact Academy. Dozens of events. Summits, bootcamps, rooms full of people who showed up, raised their hands, and bet on themselves. And every bit of it, every single moment, is because of you.

I think about the Impact Makers who walked in terrified to speak in front of 5 people and walked out owning a stage. The ones who cheered louder for someone else's win than their own. The ones who kept coming back, kept showing up, kept building.

That's the part that gets me. It was never really about the events. It was about the people in the room. 🙌

So today I'm not celebrating a company. I'm celebrating you.

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for being the kind of community that makes 8 years feel like it flew by.
