A quick overview of Project Pink!💓

The goal of Project Pink is to create gender equality and equitable access to proper women’s hygiene products to women who are already facing hardships. Addressing the issues of period poverty and pink tax will allow the broader issue of gender inequality to be addressed as well. We hope to empower and inspire women about their menstrual cycles through Project Pink!🚺 by @project__pink

Project Pink is back in full effect right before the holidays!🚺🩷
Since I’ve been in nursing school and graduated from Vanderbilt, it has been a priority of mine to start back Project Pink!🥹 Project Pink is a service project aimed towards helping to improve access to women’s health and personal hygiene products and raise awareness of the impact of period poverty and the pink tax.
I began this service project in 2020 amongst the COVID-19 crisis and did monthly donations to local homeless shelters and domestic safe havens for women and children until I went off to college. Unfortunately, I had an extremely heavy workload and busy schedule while at Vanderbilt and could only do Project Pink every so often when I visited home.
I am so happy to do the largest donations thus far of 50 bags at home in Florida before taking it to my new home, Atlanta!🥹🩷 taken in Gainesville, Florida by @project__pink

In honor of Women’s History Month coming to an end, let’s do a recap of the month for Project Pink! Project Pink had much success the month of March. We did our largest ever donation (2 in one donation!) We also did TWO interviews. One from the amazing @kristin.bausch (link in bio!). We also gained many more supporters. Thank you to all who donated to and all who support our mission of “Impacting lives, one PINK product at a time”💓🚺 #womenshistorymonth #womenempowerment #periodpositive by @project__pink
