Trinity Peacock, MN, RN👩🏾‍⚕️ Ms. MASTERED IT & the BIGGEST RN!🤏🏾🙂‍↕️

Passed the NCLEX-RN on my 1st try, I am officially Trinity Peacock, MN, RN! I turned 23 y.o. 12 days ago so this is a little birthday gift to the VirGoat herself!♍️🐐 I graduated with my Masters Degree in Nursing from the very prestigious, nationally #1 ranked masters nursing program, Emory University 1 month ago!💙 I start my 1st RN job in the CVICU in 17 days!🫀
This has undoubtedly been one of the best years of my life.🥹
So many prayers answered, my absolute life dream of becoming a nurse since I was 12 years old coming true. 10+ years of my life dedicated to this very moment. I thank God for it all. So grateful to be joining the 6.3% of Black RNs in the U.S. as a FIRST generation graduate & the FIRST nurse in my immediate family!🥹 A highly blessed & favored girl I am & I’m overly grateful to be walking into my purpose to serve through nursing and furthering my career to becoming a Nurse Practitioner.🙌🏾😇

Ms. Trinity Peacock, B.A. 👩🏾‍🎓

I DID THIS IN 2 YEARS!🎓 Graduating from the very prestigious Vanderbilt University, the #14 University in the nation at the time of my matriculation, as a 1st generation college student, 2 years early, double majored, and already accepted into the #1 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) program in the nation, Emory University and the #6 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) program in the nation, Vanderbilt University!!!🎉

Complete with my degree in Medicine, Health & Society (Public Health) and Sociology, I am now on my way to pursue my passion, my nursing career at a top MSN nursing program in America! My nursing credentials are well on their way and I will soon be a Nurse Practitioner.👩🏾‍⚕️ I thank the Lord and my family and friends for their support and guidance and, most of all, MYSELF.💗 I am nothing short of proud of myself and amazed at my resiliency, dedication to and determination for my passion and my success! The amount of hard work and tears that went into this degree will never cease to amaze me.🥹

To Gabre, I’m so grateful for all of the encouragement you gave me that kept me going. I’m so hurt you passed right before our manifestations became reality. I love you forever Wop, this 1 for YOU!🤞🏾🖤 #LLWop

In general, graduating university was an uphill battle and presented many challenges but I DID IT! And please don’t forget, IN 2 YEARS WITH 2 MAJORS FROM A TOP UNIVERSITY and ACCEPTED INTO 2 TOP MSN PROGRAMS!🐐🧠

Adding to my experiences of community nursing by delivering primary care with an interprofessional team for 2 weeks in Moultrie, GA as part of the Farm Worker Family Health Program!👩🏾‍🌾🩺

During this immersion, I provided mobile care on the Ellenton Clinic van and at the community clinic, visited schools for the children, and went to farm sites nightly to care for workers. I diagnosed conditions, prescribed treatments, delivered culturally competent education, did full workups, and so much more!

This experience deepened my appreciation for the immigrant and seasonal farm workers who sustain our communities. Immersing myself has aided in my growth as a future AGPCNP, sharpening my clinical skills and strengthening my commitment to structural equity and accessible care. It was even more meaningful since I am from a very rural area myself.🫶🏾

This marked the 33rd year Emory SON faculty, staff, and students traveled for the annual Farm Worker Family Health Program, joined by disciplines like pharmacy, PT, family therapy, and dentistry.⚕️We had a great time! taken in Moultrie, Georgia by @trinity_arionna

24 hours. Zero sleep. One mission. 🩺✨
From the ICU night shift straight to a 7-hour lecture. The grind is real, but the vision is clearer than ever!🥹 Exhausted is an understatement, but when that NP license is secured? Please know I’ll be bragging forever!👩🏾‍⚕️
