I’m so honored to be part of something I believe in this deeply, while also remembering to enjoy the process!

Stage directors @jennxpdx and @zenlindygirl Thank you💋💋

Funny story… @jennxpdx came to Spicy on Sunday and we started chatting. What are the odds?! LITERALLY the week I was about to ask a few friends and search for the perfect Stage Manager for The Burlesque Witch Project I meet you! 🖤✨Divine intervention? Always.
And of course, she had already danced with @jessica.hanberry because apparently the stars were already connecting all the dots. 🌙

What would we do without your bestie @zenlindygirl?! You two bring such bright, joyful energy, and you’re the perfect souls to collaborate with.

Thank you both so much for jumping in, bringing your magic, and helping us bring this show to life. I love how the right people seem to find each other exactly when they’re meant to. ✨🔮🖤 #magic #manifestation #collabration #coven #stagekittens by @projectburlesque

Her sacred rage becomes movement.
Her sensuality becomes art.
Her intuition becomes a compass.
Her feminine energy becomes a force for creation, connection, and transformation.

She knows that softness and strength can exist together. That pleasure is powerful. That our bodies are ours. That we are more powerful when we stop competing and start gathering.

Join Project Burlesque for a night of dance, art, sisterhood, sensuality, laughter, magic, and unapologetic self-expression.

Come celebrate every wild, dark, beautiful, powerful part of yourself.

The darkness is not the end.
It is where we alchemize.
And together, we rise.

Project Burlesque dancer, Mom, friend and overall Queen Jess! 👠🔥 She has brought so much energy, enthusiasm, depth, good vibes, amazing talent and communication to this group! A spotlight to her words from our mini performance last night because damn is she talented! Thank you for taking our mission and sharing it through written words like you do Jess! You are so loved and appreciated!

Project Burlesque is a mission-driven, non-hierarchal modern burlesque and heels collective of women, queer, and non-binary artists. Through radical sensuality, they reclaim and celebrate their bodies while challenging traditional ideas of patriarchal ownership and control. Their work is rooted in personal power and collective liberation. When they step into their own personal power, they invite others to find theirs and together they hope to uplift the entire community.

After selling out their very first performance in February, Project Burlesque returns to the stage this fall with The Burlesque Witch Project a full-length, entirely collaboratively created Halloween production, celebrating the wildness of the witch: from persecution to pop culture, the sinister to the sexy, and everything in between!

Catch Project Burlesque at the Alberta Rose Theater on Sunday, October 18th. Tickets are available through Alberta Rose’s website (AlbertaRoseTheater.com).

So honored to break the chain with you this October! Be your one true self in this life. Have the hard and real conversations. Trust each other. Lead together. If someone you care for is struggling, check in, pick them up and communicate to be closer. Demand change. Follow your passion. Ignite this world in art and creativity. There is so much room for us to be in our fullest potential together taking up powerful space and sharing the love all around. People over profit. Non competitive villages believing in each other. That’s what we need is to see each other deeply and with grace. This world is already hard enough. Dance, love each other and shine. That’s what this show is all about. And that’s what witchcraft is all about. ❤️👯‍♂️💎👠⭐️ #breakthepatriarchy #witchcraft #collaboration #bethechange #unity by @projectburlesque
