Ambush predator

While the swimjig has always been a staple for salty bass the way I see most people fish it is on the bottom. It’s a bait that has so much versatility if you want to get creative with it. I like to fish it like you would for largemouth. Keeping it high in the column with lots of shakes and pops and the calicos were crushing it over the top of this shallow reef.
