Most people are using Claude at 20% power. Change these 5 settings today and unlock the rest:

1. Turn on memory.
Settings → Memory. It's on by default — open it and review the topics Claude remembers about you. Edit or delete anything stale so it always works from fresh context.

2. Set your instructions for Claude.
Settings → Instructions for Claude. Tell it who you are, what your business does, and how you want answers. Set it once and every reply gets sharper.

3. Organize with Projects.
Create a Project per client or workflow, pin your key files, and add project instructions. Everything in that project stays in context — no more re-uploading or re-explaining.

4. Pick the right model on purpose.
Don't leave it on auto. Use the strongest model for important work and lighter ones for quick tasks.

5. Lock down data controls.
Settings → Capabilities → check "Generate memory from chat history" and your training data preferences. For client work or anything sensitive, know exactly what's saved and what isn't.
