It’s here! 🌸🐝✨
Our huge community art installation is now on display at Stafford Station, celebrating its Pollinator Friendly status.
Since the start of the year, we’ve worked with incredible local groups to create hundreds of handmade flowers and leaves for this special artwork, commissioned by Avanti West Coast in partnership with North Staffs Community Rail Partnership.
A big thank you to Eagle House, the Beam group from Stafford, and everyone who joined our studio workshops 💛
If you’re passing through the station (near Platform 2), stop by and see how many bugs and butterflies you can spot 🌼🦋
Fancy making your own metal flower artwork? Book onto one of our workshops or pick up a flower & garland kit to make at home.

It’s moved!
The Athelstan crown, crafted from hundreds of hand-embossed recycled cans , many made by the Tamworth community, now sits proudly in the courtyard of Tamworth Castle.

Inspired by the Staffordshire Hoard, it honours King Athelstan—the first King of England—and was unveiled at the end of the epic puppet parade for #Athelstan1100.
It’s been challenging and great fun to make, and we’ve really enjoyed working with the Tamworth community.
@tamworth @tamworthcastleandgrounds
A bold tribute to heritage, creativity, and community. 💫

3 cheers for @jonathancherry, photographer who helped dismantle and reconstruct the crown sculpture @toddwatch with very short notice! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

🌸✨ You can’t miss the blossom letters for @wp_art24 as you walk through the school gates!
Thousands of drinks-can metal flowers, in the school uniform colours, black & yellow were drawn on by pupils, and came together to make this absolute beauty! 🌺👏

What an amazing project and such a brilliant achievement by everyone involved. 💕

And a huge shoutout to Mrs Pope — the BEST art teacher ever! 🎨❤️ Thank you for your endless enthusiasm, creativity and for making it all happen!

And yes we did almost get run over by the mowers on installation day!🤣

A little snapshot of our work at the @victoriousfestival.
We were commissioned to create a colourful photo board for the various festivals and events that @everycancountsuk visits, promoting metal recycling.
It had to be…..
durable,
foldable,
transportable and
photographable! 🤣

We think it did the job!

We repurposed 850+ drinks cans to bring Madame Butterfly to life. 🦋✨
Why? To spread the message that metal is forever recyclable — the mantra of @everycancountsuk.

Get your wings on at @victoriousfestival this weekend and come see what can happen when we rethink, reuse and recycle.

Let’s start a recycling revolution. ♻️🦋 taken in ProteanART by @proteanart

It’s not always easy working all day with your spouse! 😜
But we’ve learned that when we work together, the results are even better. Different skills, different approaches, different ways of looking at things — and somehow, it all comes together to make something fab! 🙌

This week, we’ve been working on a drinks-can photo board for @everycancountsuk, which will be on display at @victoriousfestival in Portsmouth this weekend! 🎨🥫✨

Heading to Victorious? Make sure you grab a photo with Madame Butterfly… 🌧️⚡️🦋

She’ll give you wings! 😜

With a thought for the amazing Dolly. What a lovely sassy and original lady. ❤️
