Harvest 26! X

The vineyard is lush @maisonmirabeau in spite of the most massive drought. Regenerative practices are making their difference seen. Still lots of work to do but happier vines is a very good start in this climate.

The most moving glittery ball I have ever been to in memory of Deborah James who was really one of a kind, hero in life and beyond. Her childrens‘ speech will forever live in my heart and the foundation she created in the last months of her life has raised 21 million for cancer research. What a feat, but also such a terrible loss. @ridleylondon made her some of the most beautiful dresses and I was so happy the loved Disco dress made another appearance on this occasion. ♥️🪩♾️

Whadda week! Today an amazing Endless Lumch @sohohouse Greek Steet, the perfect Saturday in the London sunshine. The food by @rafacagali out of this world good, amazing pairing for Pure & X. Cannot wait to visit @daterrarestaurant for more of that.

Earlier in the week the @shespeakssupperclub at the @thewalledgardencobham was a total female riot and I really enjoyed myself there. Brilliant women with brilliant stories, with lots of kindness and love. The chicken pie and cake were legendary. Thanks @jessiewalescomms for giving me a spotlight to talk.

Bit depressed the nice weather might now have had it but this week was one of the nicest. ☀️🍷🍴

Most photos my own, thanks @kimmiemcnallyphotography for the rest! by @provencejournals

A little intro to our regenerative thoughts for the @sustainabilityindrinks meet 2026. We had a good time making this one at the Domaine just before harvest and never mind the bloopers. 👩‍❤️‍👨 taken in Domaine Mirabeau by @provencejournals

So the madness was by no means over after the last post and the fire came back with a vengeance on Thursday. This is a snap from one of the many drops of flame retardant over the forest outside my house.

Without this aerial effort I think not much would be left on that hill, I can only imagine the utter exhaustion of the fire and civil services after 4 days of this.

Continued gratitude to everyone working in and around the forests to keep it from flaring up again. Thinking of our neighbouring villages of Correns, Montfort and Chateauvert who are still very much under threat. 😮‍💨💔🔥

A lovely firewoman who helped with the aftermath for a neighbour’s animals. 🐷📷@gael2toulon

The damage is bigger still but shows the extent of the fire from above. Terrible shame 😢 @varmatin_draguignan

A screengrab of an apocalyptic scene in Cotignac yesterday. We are currently not there but watching absolutely horrified from afar. Our house is on top of that hill and we are not sure if it’s still around. We heard tales of absolute destruction for others, in particular on the other side of the village once the fire came down the hill. This was the big one we all didn’t dare to think about in our heads with our immense and wild forests that are now beyond dry. It only took a spark to burn 2500 hectares and destroy so much. I pray everyone made it out alive, we know most wild animals certainly didn’t. This will be a huge challenge for the villagers and the risk will keep on coming back unless there is more investment in forest management and firefighting. Thinking of those in the village and vigneron colleagues for whom it’s a truly terrible day. 🙏💔 by @provencejournals

A couple from the archives with Oski. He did not enjoy photo calls and usually disappeared as soon as he saw the tech come out 🥹 but we snapped him a few times nevertheless. 🖤🤍 by @provencejournals

After my very difficult week I was so happy to ‚change the wallpaper’ and come back to 🇨🇭 to visit some of our loveliest friends and clients -and I literally bookended the little tour with a presentation of At Home in Provence.

The hot spell followed me over, but you cannot be in a better place with airy lake and hillside terraces and the food is just so fresh and delish. I definitely tested the stretch in my shorts but I can really recommend these places if you are in the area..

1. Hotel Hermitage, The Beach Club, Lake Lucerne - brilliant food & a swim is just a few steps away…☀️
2. Bü‘s Hopfenau- amazing wine list and home to the famous ‚Worst Case Salad‘ - Wurst - Käse Salat 😋
3. Die Tracht, Rüschlikon Lake Zurich- beautiful setting, amazing food, so friendly 😍
4. Zum Pflugstein, Erlenbach-on the opposite side after a fun ferry ride! Another wine list of dreams and perfect light food for 32 🌡️
5. Off to a party at QN in Effretikon, lots of fun with live music & DJ 🪩 Great beer/Rosé garden too to while away a long lunch.
6. All good things have to end but really loved seeing Hana‘s beautiful ‚L‘Air du Sud’ Concept Store again, this time with some books and a range tasting in tow. Could have bought all the decor but suitcase situation sadly put a limit on that.. 🌸

Thanks to everyone for the welcome and extra warmth I felt in every way. And 🙌to @globalwine_ch & @kerstinvombergmallorca for driving me all over.

This Provençal panzanella is summer in a bowl ☀️🇫🇷

Think juicy heirloom tomatoes, crunchy toasted baguette, roasted courgettes, radishes, basil, pine nuts and salty anchovies - all tossed together in a zingy lemon dressing.

Jeany Cronk shares this recipe which is easy to assemble and perfect for long lunches, garden dinners or a French-inspired barbecue with friends 🍅🥖✨

What would you serve this with? 👀

I am sobbing as I write this and am unspeakably sad to give you the news that our Oscar has passed away.

Oscar was not just our beloved family dog, found and acquired after the kids incessantly asked us for a Jack Russell- for reasons unknown. Our friend Olivier who passed by that day named him Oscar and we kept it. He would sleep on Stephen’s feet while he was busy making his Mirabeau dream come true from our spare room and jump in the car every time he went somewhere.

He was also the best companion to our three kids and helped them forget the loss of their Teddington life when we first moved to Provence. He was there for us through all the highs and lows of our family and professional life, always giving us a reason to disconnect when we most needed it.

Now, being a terrier Oscar had issues with self grandeur and discipline and hence had already spent more lives than the average cat. He chased all sorts of vans and farm vehicles, imagined he was the size of an Alsatian and tussled with our robot lawnmower on a daily basis (the latter ending up looking like a chewed dog toy in the end). He fought with endless wild boars, got kicked in the head by a donkey and once caught a landing drone with his bare teeth (not a good outcome for either). He lived his life to the full patrolling his fiefdom and exercised his vocal cords extensively to the joy of our neighbours. 🐗💨

A special thank you to his other mums who stepped in when we were gone for work (and pleasure)and as we began to spend more time back in the UK. @asimplyfablife @lorraine.cazeaux and especially my lovely @rachaelkrh who gave him the best long sejour in the midst of her dogs, something he hadn’t known until he was a senior.

We will miss him hugely even if we knew this day would come. He will forever live in our hearts as our überliviely, spotty dog that had so much personality. We’re sure there is a ready supply of boar to chase around up there and yapping is also allowed. Take care little friend.

With so much ❤️ from your family, to us you were the best dog we could have ever wished for. ♾️✨ by @provencejournals

Snatched a day to join my lovely friend Camilla @ridleylondon at her new Surrey Studio and trust me we almost tried all of her beautiful handmade collection. And then @camillarosemillinery fitted me with the rosé hat of dreams after I said I never wore hats 😬.

So great to catch up with old and new friends, the girls from @bybeautifulbrands and to finally meet @charlotteknapmancollections- you can spy a pair of sage coloured ones on me I totally loved. Kudos to all these brilliant females & of course Camilla’s dresses are an investment worth making - I wear them again and again, they fit perfectly, are light as a feather and take up no space in your bag. I found the coolest one for a partyI will share soooon! 🪩

Lots of people contributed to make this day special, also thanks to @monuskincare & @connockengland for some beautiful samples of their skincare and scents.

Hello from Berlin, with some perfect spring sunshine! Jeany was over the moon to co-host an endless lunch, celebrating the launch of her book ‚Provence’ published by @hoelkerverlag in Germany.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Margaux Arabian from @volkmitte cooked up a stunning menu of modern French cuisine with a twist that paired perfectly with X and Pure. A special call out to the incredible fried oyster with ponzu and yuzu starter, and the tastiest asparagus on buttery puff pastry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
True to form, this lunch ended on the rooftop well into a glorious afternoon with a lively and interesting crowd, before a pink golden sunset.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our big thanks to @hoelkerverlag for your support for this event, and we cannot wait to see Jeany‘s book pop up in the bookshops across Germany 🇩🇪

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We hope you love our products, please enjoy them responsibly.
