The people of Cuba are not our enemy! END THE BLOCKADE!

The U.S. blockade on Cuba cuts off access to critical resources like food, medicine, and now fuel — imposing a silent genocide on the island.

The Cuban people pose no threat to the working class of the U.S. Our enemy are the billionaires who hoard unimaginable wealth, while we face rising cost of living, stagnant wages, and endless war.

LET CUBA LIVE! 🇨🇺 by @pslatlanta

🗓️ Friday, November 6 @ 6 PM
📍1820-1828 Southern Ln Decatur, GA 30033

📣 Join us THIS FRIDAY at 6PM at the intersection of Clairmont Rd. & Southern Ln. to demand an end to the Trump admin’s war on veterans and the VA workers’ unions.

💪🏾 VA workers are essential workers – providing a lifeline to veterans and families. After enlisting working people in their wars, billionaires like Trump are carrying out their agenda of destroying federal public programs and services, including those that serve veterans.

💫 The Veterans Affairs and the right to unionize were won through mass struggle. We refuse to allow our rights to be liquidated to enrich Trump and the billionaire class.

🗣️ Join us in the fight back against union-busting and for workers’ rights. Stand with our veterans! by @pslatlanta

📢 Trump’s war on VA workers must end! 📢

Rally to demand that VA workers’ unions and contracts be recognized and reinstated!

📅 Friday, November 6 @ 6 PM
📍 Near the Atlanta VA Medical Center
🗺️ Clairmont RD & Southern Ln Intersection
Decatur, GA 30033

In 2025, Trump terminated collective bargaining agreements, stripped union rights from nearly 1 million federal employees, and cancelled 380,000 Veterans Affairs workers’ union contracts. In the year since, 30,000 VA workers around the country have faced layoffs. 1,000 of those being right here in Georgia.

The VA is the largest integrated health care system in the United States and serves 9.1 million veterans, providing everything from primary care and mental health services to disability claims and burial honors. 1 In 4 workers at the VA are themselves veterans. For millions of former service members – who often carry the scars of U.S. imperialist wars back home with them – the VA is a lifeline.

We cannot allow the Trump admin to dismantle the VA, lay off thousands of workers, and hand over veterans’ care to private contractors to make profits. Capitalist politicians and courts will not save us. We are fighting back now! Join us! by @pslatlanta

We won’t let Marco Rubio go anywhere without demanding: END THE BLOCKADE OF CUBA!

For more than 64 years, from Kennedy to Trump, the U.S. government has maintained a criminal blockade on Cuba that limits their access to food, medicine, and many critical resources needed to survive. This bipartisan attempt to strangle the island has reached new heights under the Trump admin’s total fuel blockade — but the world stands with Cuba. We will not stand by while our Cuban neighbors are under attack!

💀 No Halloween movie compares to the horrors of capitalism. Between the rising cost of living, stagnant wages, and endless war, capitalism produces plenty of scares — but we can organize for a better future!

The Atlanta Dream made history by advancing to Game 7 in the WNBA finals — the first in franchise history. Despite the massive success of women athletes in the WNBA, the players have routinely been overlooked and underpaid in favor of their men counterparts.

Fans spoke out in support of WNBA players and called out these actions for what they are — misogyny and oppression from the elite few who own the league.

To secure a future where women athletes and women in all workplaces are truly equal, we need a new system that puts power in the hands of the people, not billionaires! 🏀❤️‍🔥 by @pslatlanta

We charge Marco Rubio with genocide! Join us this Saturday at 11AM to protest Rubio, who is in Atlanta for the G20 foreign ministers meeting. Let Cuba live!

🗓️ Saturday, 10/31 @ 11 AM
📍 1021 Peachtree St NE — intersection of 10th and Peachtree

Each time for the past 33 years, the UNGA has voted in a wide majority to end the U.S. blockade on Cuba. 130 countries voted to end the genocidal blockade that is starving the Cuban people. Despite this, each U.S. administration, from Kennedy to Trump, has maintained this criminal blockade, asserting that only Congress has the authority to end it. The Trump admin has tightened the noose around Cuba using the total blockade of fuel imports to the island nation.

The blockade has been strangling Cuba’s economy for more than 64 years, but the Cuban people have resisted it every step of the way and continue to do so. And we inside the United States must take on the responsibility of fighting the blockade from right here in the belly of the beast. We will not let our neighbors in Cuba suffer! End the blockade now, Rubio! by @pslatlanta

Since 2009, the federal minimum wage has been stuck at just $7.25/hour while housing costs have skyrocketed. Today, a worker in Georgia needs work 165 hours a week at minimum wage to afford a two-bedroom apartment. In no state can a minimum-wage worker afford a two-bedroom apartment working 40 hours a week.

But this crisis goes beyond housing and wages. It’s a crisis of capitalism itself — an economic system that puts profits over people’s most basic needs.

Saturday was the opening of the “Two Americas at 250” art exhibit at the Atlanta Liberation Center! Together, we learned about the history of working class resistance in the US through art and culture.

Trump and the far-right are pushing their version of U.S. history to advance their attacks on working people today. Our history is a history of class struggle, and we are reclaiming that history! by @pslatlanta

Across the state of GA, our rivers and lakes have been polluted by industrial runoff and waste from military bases. A study found PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” in 20 out of 20 sites tested across the state.

These chemicals are linked to serious longterm health consequences, including developmental delays and cancer. While laws exist to regulate this dangerous waste, corporations can skirt laws and buy politicians.

From Flint to Atlanta, clear water is a human right, not a luxury! by @pslatlanta

Billionaires like Trump use history and culture as a weapon to advance a racist, pro-billionaire agenda. But our history and culture can also be used as a tool to further struggles for justice in the U.S. and around the world.

As our communities experience a full-out assault from the Trump administration, we must reclaim our long history of class struggle and build on that legacy by fighting back!

Open house dates of the exhibit will be announced soon! by @pslatlanta
