I have two degrees ( Bachelor’s and a Masters. I have a slight complex about this 😩), a toddler, approximately 37 different interests, and an ongoing suspicion that nobody actually knows what they’re doing in adulthood. 😂

Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I’m currently relaunching into adulthood, which apparently involves figuring out motherhood, making money, rebuilding my confidence, trying new things, and remembering that I’m allowed to enjoy my life in the middle of all of that.

Sometimes I share personal stories. Sometimes I talk business, psychology, motherhood, or whatever random creative experiment I’ve gotten myself into.

And sometimes I just need to know why nobody has called the Powerpuff Girls to come handle things.

The Summer of Renaissance: How I Changed My Relationship With Stress

You don’t have to hit rock bottom to start your own renaissance.
It was summer of 2022. I found myself back in my childhood bedroom, surrounded by memories of a life I once obsessed over.

At thirty, I never imagined life would look like this. crashing at my mom’s, marriage hanging by a thread, and a business in freefall.

The air was thick with the scent of freshly cut grass and distant barbecues, but all I felt was suffocating weight of the chaos in my mind.

I turned to my first love, music, to help me reconnect with my sanity.

Nothing exposes a recovering people pleaser faster than being asked, “Well, did you tell them what you needed?”

I would personally prefer if the people who love me could simply sense the shift in atmospheric pressure and respond accordingly. Just kidding but am I🤷‍♀️

My brain has a habit of taking one uncomfortable social experience and turning it into a full character assessment. One awkward interaction becomes evidence that I’m too much, not enough, difficult to love, or somehow fundamentally unchosen.
