POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Everyone is talking about mental health today, but are we really ready to understand it? 👀

“Depression toh kuch nahi hota.” “Just stop overthinking.” Sounds familiar?

A 2025 study conducted in Puducherry found that only around 9% of participants recognised depression as a mental illness. It reminds us that mental health awareness is not just about posting; it’s about challenging what we believe.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s question the stigma, start honest conversations, and make it easier for people to seek help. 🤎

Are we truly becoming more aware, or are we just getting better at posting about it? 👇

Okay but be honest… 👀

Which option are you choosing? A or B? 😂

No judgement — because “I’ll just check Instagram for 5 minutes” has NEVER been just 5 minutes. 😭

But maybe this is your reminder that when your brain is already overwhelmed, sometimes the best thing you can do is pause instead of adding more stimulation. 🤍

So… what did you pick?

A or B? 👇

Some people don’t need advice.
They just need someone to genuinely ask, “How are you, actually?” 🤍

So think of that one person you’ve been meaning to check on.

Send them this reel.
And then… actually ask them. 🫶🏻

Because sometimes a simple conversation can mean more than we realise.

Who’s your person? 👀
Don’t tag them if you want to keep it private — just send them this. 🤍

Not everyone you know needs the same level of access to you.

And no, having boundaries doesn’t mean cutting people off or becoming distant.

Sometimes it simply means understanding who you trust, what you’re comfortable sharing, how much of your time and energy you’re willing to give, and where you need a little more distance.

Try the 3-circle exercise from this reel with the people in your life.

You might be surprised by who you’ve placed in your inner circle — and who you may have given access to simply because you felt obligated to.

Closeness ≠ unlimited access. 🤎

Save this exercise and come back to it whenever you need to reassess your boundaries.

Maybe you don’t actually have a problem with saying “no.”

Maybe you have a problem with what you think saying no will mean.

That you’re selfish.
That you’ve disappointed someone.
That you’re not a “good” friend.
That they’ll think differently of you.

So you choose the easier discomfort: saying yes when you actually mean no.

And that’s something worth noticing.

Because healthy boundaries aren’t about caring less about people. They’re about learning that someone else’s discomfort doesn’t always have to become your responsibility. 🤎

So the next time you automatically say yes, pause for a second and ask yourself:

“Do I actually want to do this, or am I just uncomfortable saying no?”

Part 3 → Who actually gets access to you? 👀

Sometimes the hardest boundary to set is the one you already know you need.

Saying no can bring up guilt, fear of disappointing people, the need to be helpful, or the worry that someone might see you differently.

And that’s where people-pleasing can quietly turn into overcommitting — not because you don’t have boundaries, but because you’re scared of what might happen when you actually enforce them.

A boundary is not a punishment.
And a “no” is not automatically rejection.

It’s simply a way of communicating what you can and cannot give.

The uncomfortable part?
People around you may need time to get used to the version of you that finally starts saying no.

Next part: how to actually say no + create boundaries without feeling like a terrible person. 🤎

Empathy is often taught as “put yourself in someone else’s shoes.”
But sometimes, while trying so hard to understand everyone else, we forget to check in with ourselves.

Understanding someone doesn’t mean dismissing your own feelings.
Caring about someone doesn’t mean constantly adjusting.
And validating someone else’s emotions doesn’t require you to invalidate your own.

Healthy empathy has space for both people. 🤍

You can say, “I understand you” and still say, “this hurt me.”

Maybe that’s a part of emotional boundaries we don’t talk about enough.

What does empathy mean to you?

And… this was her reaction. 🥹❤️

Watching her smile reminded me that some moments don’t need expensive gifts or grand celebrations—they just need the right people.

This wasn’t just a surprise.

It was my way of saying “Thank you.”

Thank you for every sacrifice, every prayer, every hug, every lesson, and every time you showed up for me without expecting anything in return.

If this video made you think of your mom or someone you love, don’t wait for a special occasion to tell them.

Sometimes, your presence is the greatest gift they’ll ever receive.

Happy 50th Birthday, Mumma. I love you endlessly. ❤️

She thought I wasn’t coming… ❤️

A few days ago, I told my mom I wouldn’t be able to make it home for her 50th birthday.
What she didn’t know was that my Nanu, Mamu, Mami, and I were secretly planning the biggest surprise.

Even though I wasn’t feeling my best that morning, I packed my bags at 6 A.M. and travelled from Delhi to Chandigarh for one reason—to be there for her.

Sometimes, the greatest gift isn’t wrapped in a box.
It’s simply showing up.

As a psychology student, one thing I’ve learned is that people may forget what you gave them, but they rarely forget how you made them feel.

This journey wasn’t just about celebrating my mom’s 50th birthday—it was about creating a memory we’ll both carry forever.

Now tell me…

Do you think she saw me coming, or was she completely surprised? 👀

Part 2 is where you’ll finally see her reaction. ❤️

“It’s just a 50-minute conversation.”
That’s what many people think therapy is.

But those 50 minutes are supported by so much more. 👇

🧠 Years of education & training
Before becoming a therapist, there are years of studying, supervised practice, internships, assessments, and clinical experience.

📚 Continuous learning
A good therapist never stops learning. Research evolves, therapies evolve, and so do we. Books, certifications, workshops, supervision, and training are all part of the process.

📝 Preparation & documentation
Sessions don’t begin when you walk into the room or end when you leave. There are treatment plans, case notes, progress reviews, and thoughtful preparation happening behind the scenes.

⚖️ Ethics & responsibility
Therapists carry the responsibility of protecting your privacy, maintaining professional standards, and providing safe, evidence-based care.

💼 The reality of practice
Running a practice includes licensing fees, supervision, continuing education, professional tools, administrative work, and countless unseen responsibilities.

🤍 Time, energy & care
Perhaps the most invisible part of therapy is the emotional presence, attention, and care that therapists bring into every session.

So no therapy isn’t “just talking.
It’s a carefully held space designed to help you feel:
🌱 understood
🤍 supported
✨ safe
🫂 and empowered to heal.
