For Hispanic Heritage Month, @discoverygreen is bringing the fantastical world of Mexican folklore to life with Fantastic Animals from Mexico: Alebrijes and Nahuales — featuring towering sculptures created by artists.

By day, eight towering alebrijes and nahuales fill the park with color. By night, they light up Discovery Green in an entirely different kind of magic. 🌙🎨

Created by Oaxacan artists and inspired by Mexican folklore and magical realism, Fantastic Animals from Mexico is a celebration of art, culture, and community — right in the heart of Houston. Consider this your sign to go get a closer look. 👀
