🎶 An unforgettable evening. Extraordinary talent. And we're just getting started!

Last week's Gala Preview at Catalina Jazz Club was a wonderful celebration of the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center and the talented young musicians at the heart of our mission.
From our incredible student performers to showstopping performances by Sy Smith and Keith David, the evening reminded us of the power of music, mentorship, and opportunity. The energy in the room was unforgettable!

✨ Now it's your turn to be part of the celebration!

Join us Thursday, October 15, for our 2026 Virtual Gala, as we celebrate our students and the community that makes their success possible.

Your generosity helps us continue providing free, high-quality performing arts education to young people in South Los Angeles.

❤️ Make your gift go twice as far! Thanks to a generous $50,000 matching challenge from Cathy Stone, qualifying donations from new supporters will be matched dollar for dollar.

The Next Generation of Jazz

At the heart of South Los Angeles, Fernando Pullum has built more than a music program, he’s created a transformational pipeline for young talent. From founding LAUSD’s first music magnet in South LA to achieving an astonishing college placement record for over fifteen years, Fernando’s life work bridges world-class performance with deep-rooted community education.

Having shared stages and studios with icons like Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, and John Legend, Fernando brings that same professional excellence back to the neighborhood to empower tomorrow’s master musicians.
