thanks so much to the lovely @nd_baumecker for inviting us back to the panorama bar / berghain for our 4th live-show there!
it was an honour and a pleasure for us to play the release-show of our 2nd album there after our debut ten years ago!
this time we "re-opened" the panorama bar at 7:30pm, as the garden floor was open before with @bradley_zero holding it down there in sunny weather with a fabulous set getting the whole place moving in such a deep, bubbly and playful way. big up!
we started our live-set on an empty floor but the dancers rushed in as soon as the doors opened and it was filled up just minutes later.
thank you to this attentive, respectful and energetic crowd, the vibes were fantastic and we really felt at ease playing! after us @fabio_monesi took over in fine style!
also a very big thanks to the wonderful and super-friendly crew: sound technicians, lighting, artist care, bar and driver! taken in Berghain / Panorama Bar by @pulsinger.irl

how me made our album AALLIIAASS:
we kept it raw & simple!
two samplers (SP1200 & MPC2000XL) going through a classic mackie 16-channels mixer. the only additional effects we used live were the @benidub.audio filtro on one channel of the SP and the @bugbrand_bristol PTdelay on the aux send.
we recorded all tracks live in stereo, mostly two 7-9 minutes jams and then did some simple editing.
after that the mixes went straight to mastering at @mikegrinser / @manmademastering .

we're celebrating the release of our 2nd album ("AALLIIAASS") this sunday at the panorama bar!
because of good weather the garden floor will be open, with @make.a.dance & @bradley_zero playing from noon til 8pm.
we're re-opening the panorama floor at 7:30pm with our live-set!
after us is @fabio_monesi and then closing by the great @nd_baumecker & @jorkes0 !
this is our fourth time playing live at the panorama bar, it's great to be back!

you can pre-order our new album AALLIIAASS and the vinyl EP I on bandcamp now! with the pre-order you immediately get the first four tracks of the album.
the second vinyl EP will be out in late october.
the (early) digital bandcamp release of the album will be on september 11th (along with the vinyl EP I), all other digital platforms on september 25th.
a note regarding the vinyl: all tracks on both vinyl EPs end in perfect locked grooves, expertly cut in fine style by @mikegrinser at @manmademastering !
this new album has a different approach than our earlier, more dub-focused records. we recorded it live only using a SP1200, a MPC2000XL, a delay unit and an oldschool 16-channel mackie mixer.

we're happy to announce that we'll be back at berghain / panorama bar for the 4th time on september 27th!
10 years after our first live show there and the release of our debut-album "mud".
this time it will be the release show of our 2nd album "AALLIIAASS"! 🔥
excellent line-up! looking forward to see @nd_baumecker , @bradley_zero , @jana_falcon , @make.a.dance and many more! (as well as @marceldettmann , @colinbenders on the berghain floor!!)

going backwards to go forward!

after ten years of dub-driven live explorations, we're now focusing on a raw, uptempo, and sample-driven take on techno.
our new live-set is stripped to the essentials — two classic samplers, the SP-1200 and MPC 2000XL, and a 16-track mixer.

we've been working on it over the course of the last year, played two smaller local gigs, and are happy to present it at the @blitz_music_club klubnacht spezial in munich this saturday, november 15th, with a fantastic line-up consisting of daphni / @cariboumusic , @markernestus ndagga rhythm force, @palmstrax , @sofiiazoloto_ & vince.

our forthcoming album will be released in early 2026. by @pulsinger.irl

We present an extended Klubnacht Spezial full of DJ sets and live concerts — from Daphni (Caribou’s DJ alias) to Mark Ernestus’ Ndagga Rhythm Force, Palms Trax to Pulsinger & Irl, Sofiia Zoloto and our resident vince.

Daphni, the dancefloor alter ego of Dan Snaith — also known as Caribou — returns to the decks for a rare appearance. Where Caribou channels the elaborate dramaturgies of electronic pop and psychedelia with a live band setup, Daphni cuts straight to the dancefloor’s physical core, with vivid grooves made for movement. As both a DJ and live performer, Snaith has shaped his own language of rhythm and emotion: we’re thrilled to welcome him to Blitz for the first time!

Mark Ernestus embodies another bridge between studio precision and collective energy. The driving force behind influential outlets such as Basic Channel, Rhythm & Sound and Berlin’s Hard Wax record store joins the Ndagga Rhythm Force, the Senegalese ensemble he produces. Their latest album Khadim thrives on frugal yet magnetic arrangements — a dialogue of organic and electronic percussion, held together by refined dub sensibility and irresistible physicality, best experienced on a live stage.

(Patrick) Pulsinger & (Sam) Irl’s creative partnership began in Pulsinger’s studio, rooted in a shared love of dub and experimental techno. Their current live sets explore raw, uptempo techno through essential technical setups.
Framing the night with many more grooves are British Dekmantel ambassador Palms Trax, local favourite Sofiia Zoloto, and our resident vince — each with their own vivid take on the colourful spectrum of house and techno. taken in BLITZ Music Club by @pulsinger.irl

our remix for our good friend, the viennese musician daniel helmer aka @ifsonever 's track "an unexpected error has occurred" (feat. @audioguido on sax) is out today on the great @jazzandmilk label.
the whole remix EP feat. @wolfgang_lehm_ann , ziggy zeitgeist of @zeitgeistfreedom and feater will be out on november 17th.
