The days at Lake Garda were truly magical. Even though the time was filled by competitions, waiting around, setting up gear, long journeys and getting up early, the moments spent under the Italian sun near the mountains, were out of another world. Lying in the olive tree gardens, sleeping under the stars, having wonderful companionship, forming friendships and learning from the talented foil girls and boys, growing 🤍🫶🏼 … and running after my tent that the wind blew off 😅

So grateful to take home the win 🥇 of the last stage of the #sft #pumpfoil #worldtour this year in Austria 🤩

Super thankful for the great experience, the wonderful people I’ve met, new bonds with the growing foiling family 🙌 and the lessons learnt (I keep learning everyday) 🤍

My highlight definitely included the endless wakefoil sessions with @rob_on_rolls @jurij.scheibler and @edan.fndr and the #wingfoil and #parawing (lots to learn) sessions in between, but also the deep talks with beautiful souls 🦋

Swipe for a few behind the scenes pics. We drove 7h + in a fully packed car and slept only a few hours 🤪 Still curious who took my pink socks 🧦 in the backstage athletes area, may the smell be with you 😃🩷

@kingofthelake_portalban was such a highlight- foiling in this unreal nature, lots of foil brands and with cool girls/people was just incredible. Becoming queen of the lake the cherry on top (although EVERY foiling woman is SUCH A QUEEN 👸 …right?!).

Finally a long distance race (that was still too short for women IMO), cool was also the group race (although we need more rules on this I guess).

Thanks heaps for the great gifts - 💕🫶🏼 best ones so far, love the waterproof shell, surf clothes and aalllll the little details and the pretty merch bag. Someone really put their heart into it, you could tell.

The highlight was obvsly the wave boat, and meeting @hiltiinsta with his generosity 🫶🏼🤍 swipe right to see how tight it was to @yvonvite . Also swipe if you want to see squishy the frog 🐸 and if warm milk in a beer bottle (that I won and drank) tastes nice (it does!). @lberner just simply invented a new tactic to win the group races- we missed it still by one point.

First time testing the @indianapaddlesurf Dolphin M - a bit tricky to start and needs high frequency pumping but is cool 😍

I I could help improve the events I would chip in this: clear rules on the start signal and course, similar starting options for goofy and regular, more races to diffuse chance and favor consistency and talent. @swissfoiling 🙏🏻🫶🏼

Holding on for dear life to the ship wave. I didn’t know it was gonna turn and take me back to where I came from. What a 40min ride 🤩💕

The times I’ve doubted myself and still do…🐌 go out there and believe anything is possible!

At this point I have an emotional connection to each ship 😃

Pumpfoil Vice world champion 2026 🤩

When I started pumpfoiling I couldn’t imagine that one day, races would be held and I would be part of it. Races are stressful for me but every time I learn so much from others, and learn about life, God and the world and myself. Huge thanks to everyone that was a part of it 🤍 (including fellow contestants, organizers and family Peherstorfer 🫶🏼).

The highlight was of course the wave boat that served us prime waves 2h long. Things got tricky in the corner, and I had to swim a few times haha 😅 I admired the smooth and surfy riding style from others, so much to learn! … and a longer fuse next time.

I was on my way to the competition at Traunsee when suddenly a slight nervousness encroached on my mind. I didn’t have the chance to train running starts at all 😳.. as the water level was so high in Zürich, and felt unprepared.
We then stopped shortly at #walensee to get some last moment training in, like a student that thinks learning on the morning of the test will help 😂

I was trying to do the running start on a short dock and was surprised how difficult it was to change a routine. Once I started thinking, my body forgot how to move.

This got me interested in the interplay of mind, brain and muscles and how to integrate them to perform better. I learned these points while thinking, waiting while competing and from fellow competitors (@prof.d.eps @foilgaser 🫶🏼). The brain 🧠 is such a fascinating machine.

Sometimes a little change (mentally, approach, physically) can make a big difference. Keep trying 🤍
