Reposting for new folks 🖤 This is how I trained my dog @pumpkinspotted who did such a good job as an animal dog actor 🐕

EVER FEEL LIKE YOU'RE TRAPPED IN A BAD DREAM?
Katie has escaped an abusive household with her dog and younger sister Haley, in exchange for a less-than-ideal temporary housing environment. They soon realize that someone is too eager to welcome them to the neighborhood.

PROJECTION - A Short Horror - FREE on YouTube and Vimeo -Link in Bio

@pumpkinspotted is our little horror star ✨

EVER FEEL LIKE YOU'RE TRAPPED IN A BAD DREAM?

Katie has escaped an abusive household with her dog and younger sister Haley, in exchange for a less-than-ideal temporary housing environment. They soon realize that someone is too eager to welcome them to the neighborhood.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT:
My goal behind this short horror film was to create a "feeling" of chaos, anxiety, disorientation, and rage. I tried playing with framing, editing, color, sound, and music, all to help capture the muted trauma and stress of "keeping it together", and what happens when you can't hold it in anymore. A little window into someone's horrible day.

Thank you to my amazing cast, crew, and community, who I could not have made this scary movie without!

@flowmovie2024 features no dialogue and follows a cat trying to survive along with other animals in a seemingly post-apocalyptic world as the water level dramatically rises, realizing friendship is their greatest asset.

The movie was made by @gzilbalodis and @matisskaza and distributed by @janus_films

The team watched real animals and used real sounds, which makes sense why Pumpkin was so locked in.

What's it like working with a dog on a film set? Well as long as you have plenty of food and a dog that's unabashedly food motivated, you can make it work 🐕

@pumpkinspotted did such a great job, she's made for the movies.

Also, remember there is a general strike tomorrow! No work; No shopping. Support and Protect your neighbors! ✊🏽
