Reckless Intent is a proudly queer sketch troupe making comedy about sex, desire, identity, and all the weird ways people interact. With more than half of the cast identifying as transgender or gender nonconforming, they bring an array of queer and gender-diverse perspectives to their writing and performances while at the same time delivering comedy that’s smart, filthy, heartfelt, and gloriously inappropriate.

Mix in bizarre characters, a willingness to follow a premise somewhere completely unexpected, and you get a show that celebrates queer voices while finding humor in the truth that relationships are weird and sex is even weirder.

Reckless Intent creates comedy where queer voices aren’t the exception - they’re the ones running the show.

Reckless Intent is Julie Johnson, Jake Gillespie, Jessa Wiles, West Kester, Stella Garibaldi, and Chloe Leczel, with featured players Colton Richards and Ali Velazquez.

Sometimes you put a lot of work into something for it to still turn out a little shitty. That’s ART, baby. Sometimes your screen time gets so high you have to just touch some freaking grass, or like, emboss tin. And you think it’s gonna be soooo easy, right? Cuz you’re not that smart. You think you can just scan the piece of tin and that’ll be it. Well newsflash: tin is reflective. So you scan it and you can’t read shit. So then you go to take a picture of it but guess who never charges their camera batteries? YOU. Cuz you’re too busy “living in the moment”. And that’s why your screen time is at like 8 hours a day. Putting in a shift at Instagram and your little cooking puzzle games. But you finally do it, you get the image. Just like I always knew you would, because you’re a fucking genius. But it still doesn’t look great. That’s okay. Get on Pinterest for an hour as a reward.

Stick with those guys who invite you to try improv in 2016 - you might just end up on Dropout with them.

Picture this: March, freezing cold, back of a van being driven by @samreich with @jacobwysocki in the passenger seat, 2 hours of sleep because you drove through a tornado into town to film at 8 am. Nobody can say being from Topeka doesn’t earn you certain privileges.

Seriously, the amount of gratitude I feel towards the @gamechangershow + local crew is so immense. What a blast, everyone was so kind and professional. Please everybody go check out the latest episode!! It was so fun to film and I will never stop reeling at this amazing experience. by @punky.brewstr

Birthday Chicago Improv Hot Dog Trip Dump 🌭🫶🏻🪑

I chugged sangria, walked around a Nordstrom Rack until I was maybe the sleepiest I’ve ever been, then saw 6 improv teams back to back to back. Going into 28 correctly.

I got plenty of new photos of me looking weirdly coy with hot dogs.

Erin & I did eventually get a picture in focus!

I met some incredibly funny and sweet people from some really fantastic teams like:

- @calamity_quest
- @dumbjohn
- @brandedsilk
(Thank you guys for making Cameron and I feel so welcome!)

THEY CLOSED THE HOLIDAY CLUB?!?

Then slept the entire drive back to KC in a way that can only mean irreparable damage to my spine 💅
