midnight snack🍒
i think this is the first song where i genuinely didn’t overthink anything. just made it, played it a bunch, and had fun with it. we played this one all summer and it kinda just kept evolving until it became this.

also!! this is the first track my bestie + drummer blaire tracked with me 🥹 you can really hear him in the bridge. ITS YUGE!

anyway. dirty lil song. very unserious. very fun. definitely the lightest song on the album lol

hope you guys dig it, new album in 2 weeks💥

GAY-CL’s OUTDOOR STAGE IS FOR ALL YOU LITTLE FREAKS, BABY. 🌙

SP!KE + LENA LUCA + PURE XTC are taking over the patio and we are NOT easing you into this one.

🌀 SP!KE is our Tejana lesbian techno sapphic, mixing electro, post-punk + cumbia into music made for moving weird, getting sweaty and temporarily losing custody of your frontal lobe.

⛓️ LENA LUCA brings dark, danceable alt-pop, classically trained vocals + sexy, unapologetic songwriting. Come prepared to shake ass AND feel something against your will.

💋 And then our OUTDOOR HEADLINER PURE XTC is coming down from Kansas City to finish the job. Taylor Hughes’ genre-blurring project lives somewhere between indie rock, electronic pop, fuzzy guitars + devastatingly confessional songwriting, and she’s bringing that high-energy live show straight to the GAY-CL patio.

Also, her debut full-length, “the women i loved, the songs i kept,” drops October 23, so you’re catching her 12 DAYS BEFORE THE ALBUM.

Three artists. One patio. Several opportunities to develop a crush you absolutely do not need. (And you can catch them all before the indoor stage fires up!)

GAY-CL. OUTSIDE. SEE YOU IN THE PIT. 🫡

* LEZFEST 3 is on OCT 11, from 6P to 1A, at Hotel Vegas.
* LezFest is for anyone identifying in the sapphic umbrella. FLINTA inclusive. TERF’s never welcome. If you’re not a sapphic and don’t arrive with a sapphic, you’ll be refunded at the door. by @purextcmusic
