Through our government-partnered Safety & Protection Programme across 35 urban slum communities, PVR NEST promotes safe sanitation and healthier habits.

At our Pink Centres and Garima Grihs, our WASH Champions and Behaviour Change Advocates encourage children and families to practise handwashing, personal hygiene and safe sanitation every day.

Global Handwashing Day is a special reminder of why these everyday habits matter.

A big thank you to Lady Irwin College, Delhi University for the opportunity to showcase our K.A.L.A. products at Samagra ’26!

Organised by the College’s Department of Development Communication & Extension, it gave our team members a wonderful platform.

The stall received a very warm response, with Ms Rajni Abbi, former Mayor of Delhi, professors and students stopping by and picking up bags, crochet pieces, and more made by our centre teams

Every K.A.L.A. sale helps strengthen our centres and create more opportunities for women to build sustainable livelihoods.

As part of our Period Positivity Campaign with Unicharm India, 45+ women at Garima Grih in Naraina Industrial Area came together for a menstrual health and hygiene session.

Led by our trainer, Kavita, the session was filled with curiosity, questions and open conversations. To help take the message forward, all participants received Sofy packs and simple reading material they could share with others in their families and communities.

What if waste could become something useful?

That’s exactly what we explored during a Waste Management Workshop with @roundglass_foundation

Our skilling trainers and WASH champions got together to talk about segregation, composting, creative ways to reuse waste and simple ideas for a more sustainable community.

The session was tailored to our programs and centres, making it practical, relatable and full of ideas we can take back into our everyday lives.

On 25 September, 25 women at our Pink Centre, Amar Colony, including regular users, MCD workers and neighbourhood women, came together for a session on menstrual health and hygiene.

They asked questions, shared experiences and promised to share their learnings with others. Participants were also given Sofy hygiene packs to support better menstrual hygiene.

Our trainers will continue taking these conversations into communities as part of our Period Positivity Campaign with Unicharm India.

From Nepal to Delhi, she found her way to our Vikaspuri Pink Centre, where she is learning stitching and beauty & wellness skills to help her her build confidence and explore livelihood opportunities.

On 15 September, more than 30 women from the local working community around Central Market, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi came together at our Pink Centre for an interactive session on menstrual health and hygiene as part of our Period Positivity Campaign with Unicharm India.

The session offered a safe and comfortable space for women to ask questions, share experiences and learn simple ways to care for themselves.

Led by our trainers Kavita and Pooja, the discussion was lively and engaging, with women participating openly.

🎉 Festivals are not just about celebration. They are about sharing joy, creating connections, and making people feel remembered. 💛

This festive weekend, @balbhartiacademy , in partnership with @pvrnest , reached out to 100+ children at Garima Grih centres in Kirti Nagar and Naraina Industrial Area, New Delhi. 🏫✨

From sharing Real Juice, Dabur Aloe Vera Gels, and colourful Rakhis 🎁🌈 to spending meaningful time with the children, the initiative was a heartfelt reminder that even the simplest gestures can create moments of warmth, happiness, and belonging. 🤗💫

Because meaningful CSR is not only about what we give. It is about the people we reach, the smiles we create, and the connections we build. ❤️

At 12, Ruhi wanted to use a computer like her friends.

During our daily digital training sessions at Garima Grih, Kirti Nagar, she not just learnt how to use a computer but is now also making colourful drawings in Paint and using Notepad.

Today, Ruhi is not just learning digital skills, she is becoming more confident, curious, and ready to use technology in her studies.

These small steps and confidence amongst our students inspires us everyday! by @pvrnest

Our K.A.L.A. (Knowledge and Learning Assistance) Program teams recently brought their creations to the PVR INOX office, with laptop bags, pouches, tote bags, mobile holders, crochet pieces and more. It was wonderful to see the products so warmly appreciated.

And the story doesn’t end there. The earnings go back into the K.A.L.A. centre, supporting more creations and helping the centre grow more sustainable.
