🎉 Festivals are not just about celebration. They are about sharing joy, creating connections, and making people feel remembered. 💛

This festive weekend, @balbhartiacademy , in partnership with @pvrnest , reached out to 100+ children at Garima Grih centres in Kirti Nagar and Naraina Industrial Area, New Delhi. 🏫✨

From sharing Real Juice, Dabur Aloe Vera Gels, and colourful Rakhis 🎁🌈 to spending meaningful time with the children, the initiative was a heartfelt reminder that even the simplest gestures can create moments of warmth, happiness, and belonging. 🤗💫

Because meaningful CSR is not only about what we give. It is about the people we reach, the smiles we create, and the connections we build. ❤️

Grateful to PVR NEST for partnering with us to make this celebration more joyful, inclusive, and meaningful. 🌱🤝

This moment has been many years in the making and I’m excited to share some crisp September news. Desmania Designed For Good (DFG) is now expanding to the US! I started DFG in India to build a creative space at the intersection of design and social change. What began as a podcast about design for social impact turned into a creative practice. In the past few years we’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and incredible organisations like @unescoindia , @pvrnest , TRF, and United Nations OHCHR, Geneva. The thought that has remained constant, however is that the problems we are responding to are universal. My time at @harvard @harvardgsd has further strengthened that thought and amplified the pluriversality of social design.

🌎And so DFG’s work will now cover two geographies. It will continue to ask questions, it will continue to think far-wide-deep and high about the issues that surround us.

📣We’re an interdisciplinary social design studio building research-led campaigns, strategies, and systems grounded in stories that drive change. We’re the social design division of @desmania_design : a studio with 30+ years of experience across every form, space, and medium and I couldn’t be more excited to combine our energies in building this out.

If you’re dreaming up something or working on a project that needs research, design, innovation or storytelling in service of social impact and change: let’s talk!

Inaayat celebrated her birthday by creating happy memories for many of our Spread A Smile India children.
And in return, they celebrated her with love.
A heartfelt thank you to Sanjeev Bijli @sanjeevkbijli and Dr. Amit Bhasin @dramitbhasinofficial for celebrating little Inayat’s 6th birthday by treating our children to The Great Grand Superhero – Aliens Ka Aagman.

A day filled with smiles, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Every child deserves moments like these. Thank you for making them possible. @pvrcinemas_official

Conversations around menstrual health and hygiene play an important role in creating awareness, encouraging informed choices, and building supportive communities. Around Menstrual Hygiene Day, MSF engaged with young women and communities through period health sessions and the distribution of menstrual cups across MS-CASIE and PVR Nest (@pvrnest ) Garima Grih, Kirti Nagar, creating spaces for learning, sharing, and open dialogue.

A heartfelt message straight from the heart.

We are truly touched by this beautiful video message from Sanskruti Jayana, where she shares her gratitude and love for everyone who made this journey so memorable.

From celebrating her Bollywood debut as Satyabhama in Krishnavataram: Part 1 - The Heart (Hridayam) to receiving the blessings of 100 inspiring Didis from GB Road and their children - this moment became far more than just a screening; it became a celebration of dreams, hope, and human connection.

Thank you, @sans09 , for your warmth, humility, and kind words. Wishing you endless success and a shining journey ahead.

They say if you want to change a community, start by empowering the women within it.

Seeing 300+ women transition from learners to value creators at PVR NEST was a reality check for us. It wasn’t just a certification ceremony; it was a front-row seat to transformation. From the grit in the stitching labs to the focus in the computer rooms, these women aren’t just looking for roles they are building their own futures.

At Balaji Switchgears, we’ve always believed that true growth isn’t just about the bottom line. It’s about the lives we uplift along the way. When a woman grows, she takes her whole family with her.
