We have the TANJ Youth Arts Festival in downtown Asbury Park! 🎨🧑‍🎨

As part of the festival we are hosting a POETRY OPEN MIC 🎤 at @over_the_moon_art_studios with @pwnteen

Beginning at 11 AM, stop by to share your own writing or simply enjoy creative readings by our talented students! ✍️📝

💛 Free & open to the public with a focus on student and family programs

🥐 Free breakfast will be provided by @crust_and_crumble while supplies last

A Sea of Lemon Trees is a beautiful 2025 middle grade novel in verse. It is based on true events they took place in Lemon Grove, California in the early 1930s, when a school board decided all of the students of Hispanic origin would be kicked out school and forced to a “new school.” Wow! I was blown away by this beautiful book. taken in Project Write Now by @pwnteen
