Pyramids of Compassion
Sonic Sculptures -November 2025 - January 2026 @werklundcentre

The sonic field is alive, part prayer, part protest, part healing terrain.

As collaborators, we are united by a shared passion for music and art—a deep, kinetic affinity for sound that transcends the auditory and enters the symbolic. Our creative dialogue is grounded in the sculptural possibilities of sound waves, through which we seek to shape immersive, affective experiences with our audience.

Our initial collaboration began during a residency at the Banff Centre, where the convergence of our artistic visions ignited a compelling synergy. This submission represents not only a continuation of that journey but also a vital opportunity to expand the scope of our sonic exploration. We aspire to advance our practice—pushing the boundaries of composition and performance art with renewed momentum. Our goal is to channel transformative energy into the world, using sound as a conduit for emotional resonance and collective connection.

A compelling synergy of a saxophone, and a piano. The sonic field we build is alive: part prayer, part protest, part healing terrain. We stretch toward the ineffable—not to escape the world, but to reimagine it. To feel more. To be more. We are drawn to the raw, the ruptured, the radiant. To the space where jazz once broke its own bones to grow wings.

What began at the Banff Centre was more than a meeting—it was the opening of a portal. where our shared devotion of a kinetic affinity for sound, transcends the auditory and enters the symbolic. This resonant unfolding, is both compass and cure.
