Catch @pyrebluemusic at Edgewater Music Festival this Sunday at 1pm! @edgewaterchamber

Nick’s Note: Canary (@pyrebluemusic) started rolling through Featured! Live late last year and started blowing us away with the shear amount of skill and raw talent in her voice, guitar playing, and presence. I’m very excited to see where Canary goes from here whether it with music or one of her many many other talents. by @pyrebluemusic

Pyre Blue (/'Pi-err-Bloo/) coming out of the burnt and bbq stained woodwork of the staple of music scenes, Nashville. But @pyrebluemusic has exploded the Chicago music world with vigor! Effortlessly belting out beautiful notes that make Lady Gaga sound like a bad busker. Her powerful lyrics paint years of pain, incubated and filtered through natural born beakers before reaching the centrifuges. Thus separating the suffering from salvation; and intravenously curing listeners of deep depression before any modern medicinal early-detection practice could even catch it. Thank you for the cure Canary. #velveteen #chicagomusic #livemusic #uncommonground #pyreblue 1/11/26 • REC 07:10pm taken in Uncommon Ground Lakeview by @pyrebluemusic

⚠️NEW SINGLE DROPPING @ MIDNIGHT⚠️

"Handle With Care" by @pyrebluemusic
.
.
Its been 7 months since I released my first single CHARADES. I have had a hell of a transformation in my personal life between then and now. I moved to Chicago from Memphis, had to completely start over (...again), made new friends, had my first headlining show in January at @cubbybearwrigley , fell in love with a wild benny and yada yada yadaa

This song was written in early 2023 during a time where I think i really started the messy process of grieving my father who passed away in Oct of 2019. Its a letter to myself written from his perspective on the other side.
.
PRE-SAVE "Handle With Care" ooorrrr just wait until u wake up tomorrow hehe 👉👈
.
.
I want to do a whole deep dive video talking about this song and how/where it was recorded and my general thoughts and feelings I experienced throughout this journey

*****

Matt Augustine is a Chicago-based performing songwriter blending folk, indie, and country influences into heartfelt, lyric-driven songs about love and loss. His writing is deeply personal yet universally relatable, drawing listeners in with an emotional honesty that feels both raw and familiar. On stage, Matt creates a sense of shared emotion — moments where the songs feel like they belong to everyone in the room.

Mikaela Sullivan is a Chicago-based performing artist, songwriter, and creative. She combines her classical training, musical theater experience, and admiration for “sad girl” music to craft bold melodies and unabashedly honest, vulnerable lyrics.

PYRE BLUE was created by Canary, a tattoo artist from a quiet town in Northwest Indiana. With a love for dark alternative and murky blues, her music shines on the experience of becoming.

Mario McClean is a singer-songwriter from Columbia, SC, whose music blends the storytelling of alternative folk with the deep, soulful melodies of modern soul.
