hey all!
just wanted to let everyone know that i released 30 voice memos of my original songs on Bandcamp! the link is in my bio :)
i genuinely don’t think i would’ve put these songs out if it weren’t for the amazing friends i’ve met over the past couple of months. i look forward to meeting new people in the chicago music community, learning more about music, and growing as an artist.

Live late last year and started blowing us away with the shear amount of skill and raw talent in her voice, guitar playing, and presence. I’m very excited to see where Canary goes from here whether it with music or one of her many many other talents.

Surprise fest appearance! Swing by the Rattleback Records tent at Edgewater Music Fest on Friday at 6 p.m. for an hour of originals. Even better, come early and stick around later to hear Damon and Ian, and come back all weekend to listen to all of these stellar local artists!

Street fest suggested donation $10, find us on Broadway between Thorndale and Ardmore.

What if we told you we've been lying to you all along? What if we told you that there aren't just going to be 2 music stages at Edgewater Music Fest, but that there are actually going to be 3 music stages? 👀😎🎸

Well, the cat is out of the bag!

We're excited to officially announce the super secret Acoustic Stage in the Rattleback Records "Record Tent" at Edgewater Music Fest 2026.

The official on-site record store near the center of the festival's street vendor market will feature a small stage for stripped-down acoustic performances from more local, independent, and up-and-coming musicians.

This is the initial schedule for the acoustic stage, and it's jam-packed with some awesome neighbors and friends who rock, plus some of our mainstage acts popping up for more intimate performances.

You never know who else may drop in to the tent to jam at the last second!

We apologize for lying. But we think the secret was worth it.

I'm positively OVERWHELMED by the flood of inquiries im recieving for this round of booking. I've had a very challenging summer and almost quit tattooing; which is literally my breath and blood. No joke. But Creator has a plan for each of us, i just needed to let go of doubt (poison) and negative self talk ❤️

I made up excuses for why I wasn't getting work and told myself maybe it's because I just don't belong. Maybe im avoiding a *real* job (i hate saying that). Maybe the universe wants me to do something else. Or maybe im actually a shit artist wasting mine and others' time with this blah blah blah...STOOOOOOPP!!!!!! .....I DO have a place in this ever-expanding industry. Especially as a handpoke artist, we all have our own special amd unique paths. No two rivers flow the same, so why should I compare myself when mother nature doesn't?!

What i needed to actually quit was the inner voice telling me to follow the herd and do what is popular or trendy. But I have always gravitated to the lesser known. Maybe its my curiosity, or stubbornness in refusing to conform. Either way, i am confident in being the only person in Chicago who offers what I offer; badass large-scale ornamental calligraphic handpoke with a Mexica flair🔥😆 be proud of yourselves darnit!!!

I have so much to progress, with many many more years of art / story telling through this medicine and profession.

P.S. if you didn't get picked this time, fret not! Ya girl will be booking again in 3 weeks. Stay tuned!

One Year! 52 MONDAYS! I don't think we took a single break, and in that 52 weeks, we saw over 200 musicians, comedians, performers. We've begun helping artists book and have successful shows. We've started a radio show to showcase original, independent , grassroots musicians. But most importantly, we've made friends along the way.
